December was a young girl when her world fell apart. She witnessed her mother and brother being brutally murdered for her father's unpaid mob debt, but managed to flee the assailants unnoticed.

The repressed memories of this massacre lurked in the shadows of her seemingly normal life in the years that would follow. Until one fateful day, over a decade later, when someone would bring past horrors to life.

Made a powerless victim by her college boyfriend, a switch was pulled and December's life was again, no longer hers. Nothing could ever be 'normal'. In order to save not only herself, but innocent people everywhere from the evil in the world, December trains voraciously in the art of killing. She walks the streets at night as a vigilante and covers up her actions in the day working the police station evidence locker. Her sole drive is to avenge the death of her family. And one day a familiar piece of evidence falls into her lap...and she knows there is no turning back.

Truly One Of The Best Females Revengers !

This Bennie Woodell as a director,writer so on and so forth can make a movie with nothing into something. He also made Fast Zombies With Guns,See our review of it elsewhere. D.A.D. is pretty incredible with nice death scenes and chases and acting that is NOT wooden or amateurish. The lead,Leena Kurishingal , Is pretty and amazing,She shows emotion,physicality in action scenes and just has a look that smacks of a star. With all the women as weapons films,This one has to have earned a spot no matter it's budget and those that maybe consider STUDIO "A" films. Filmed near Chicago,It has a much grittier look with rain and bad weather obvious to filming.

Painful

Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. It takes itself very seriously which is probably it's greatest flaw considering the poor writing, acting, directing, production, etc. Overly gory, trying to highlight special effects and makeup, but cinematography/editing lingers too long on the wounds as if to say, "hey, look what we did here with his eye!!". The music isn't bad, but isn't good. There are moments where the music is louder than people talking. The writing attempts depth, but comes across shallow. There is no logic in some of the main characters actions. All in all, pretty painful to watch.
