Joe Cornish, this spoof song's creator, said in mid-2008: ''I would like to offer this song to the makers of the new James Bond movie 'The Quantum of Solace', entirely free, for use over the opening credits of their forthcoming movie. Yours sincerely, Joe Cornish. The song comes from a feature on my radio show that goes out every Saturday morning on BBC 6music. The feature's called 'Song Wars' and it involves me and my co-presenter (Adam Buxton) writing songs on a particular theme then battling them by having listeners vote for their favorite. That particular week the challenge was to write a provisional QOS song.''
