La madre

This Italian-made movie I watched from my home in rural Thailand on my favourite movie website, which is based in Russia. Most readers will know which website I mean. A very decent print which runs 55 minutes with title cards in Dutch & English subtitles beneath. It stars 51yo Italia Vitaliani as the mother & Joseph Sterni as the son. A very basic story of a doting mother whose only child, a son, is a painter who falls for his artist's model much to the horror of aforementioned mother. When his paintings are unsold & he has no money the model gives him the air. Depressed, he has a flash of inspiration & uses his mother as his model. Is it worth an hour of your time? Only if you're into silent movies.
