Bi-Ceps

Catherine Crystal has a threesome with Ken Davis and Chris Thompson, who play half-brothers. Given the title, they soon play with each other, with Thompson having a go on Davis after Crystal does her work with a dildo. Given that this is not one of the '80s X-raters which treats incest seriously, I'm not sure why they need to be half-brothers - maybe this was the 1986 version of "stepbrother" in terms of caution. This scene as a whole would have probably benefited from less mechanical dirty talk, but it still chugs along.

Crystal mentions her roommate (Sandy Blue) who has a threesome with her study buddies (Derek Ensen and Matthew Wilde). Ensen is probably the closest you'll see to Martin Short appearing in porn, while Blue and Wilde have more typical looks for the genre (she's a messy bleach blonde, he's a clean-cut brunette) This is probably my favorite scene in the movie just for the hilarious choice to have Wilde (when Star insists the guys have to pleasure each other or she won't do anything) initially deny her order, then use a quote from Auntie Mame to change his mind. A rare wink at honesty for most of the "straight" men in these bi films. This sequence has good chemistry all-around, and a nice variety - the only negative is the moaning and groaning added onto the soundtrack, which is just distracting and annoying on top of the already playing muzak. This threeway also features a dildo, used on Wilde, and a line to set up the next scene - Wilde mentioning a friend of his who picked up two women and got the same treatment.

Lois Ayres and Melissa Menendez are the ladies in question, with Matt Pierce as the guy. Pierce stays in the shower for a good while so viewers can enjoy the ladies on their own. When he joins them, he briefly puts various orifices to use on the toy, but much of this scene is spent with him kissing and fondling Ayres and Menendez, which adds a much more natural feeling to the trio. This leads to the last attempt at continuity, as Menendez (already in a flashback) takes us to another flashback (with Dusty Meadows/Ryan Andrews and Jonny Miles/Athena Star as the two couples). The partner swap kicks off as the ladies enjoy each other in the kitchen, while the men get down to their skivvies to work on a car (even removing their shoes - fortunately there does not seem to be a fetish for men whose toes are horribly injured in garage accidents). The claustrophobic, grimy feel with the guys is the highlight here, reminding me of a Joe Gage movie. Unlike some bi movies which keep the partners split up, the ladies eventually join the men, ending in a long look at Ryan Andrews' chiseled glutes as he drives into Meadows on top of his car engine while Miles and Star kiss nearby - never let it be said porn encourages the breakup of marriages.

The final scene is not introduced, and also looks slightly different than the rest of the movie, which makes me wonder if it was originally from somewhere else. Penny Lane (very early in her career, with a Lara Flynn Boyle look before that was a look) with blonde stud Cole Carpenter and more rugged, mustached Jason Steele (Steele sports both a fading British accent and a pair of Speedos so tiny he may as well have just worn a doily around his waist). Lane wants to go see a bi porn movie, but Carpenter wants to just do the real thing. The fake moans and groans are back, which, along with weird moaning from Steele and some awkwardness between the men when they first embrace, takes away some of the appeal, but this is still a passable enough way to close out the film. As we get another very strained attempt at meetings of mouths between the trio, Lane boasts that they are both bisexual. That they are...now let's just get them some kissing lessons.
