Peçanha Contra o Animal

Not everything works in this medium-length camp dark humor crime TV movie, and many jokes may be seen of bad taste, seeming to be written by a male teenager, but it made me laugh loud. Besides the gags involving lack of education (by rhe policemen), harsh periphery underworld (crime, prostitution, and so far), football culture in Rio de Janeiro, and dropping (deseases, sperm, fart...), there are also some jokes directed to Bolsonaro years, making references to illegal police/militia activities and to charismatic church involvement with scientific negationism towards clorochine usage. The spoof elements of horror and thrillers are nice. Corrupt police, involved in illegal activities, prejudice, disrespect for rule of law and human rights, is subject of many jokes, but it is a little ambiguous if it happens in a critical or relativising way. The macho ethos is mocked too, anyway, what is funny.

The movie it's a completely joke and absolutely nothing should be taken seriously. The humor is ok, with mediocre jokes. The photography is incredibly good, and actually remember some police drama.

Wonderful comedy, so funny and different than the usual comedies. I can't stop laughing !!! Watch it !!! The script is stunning, also the acting. Porta dos fundos (the producers and the acting crew), have a YouTube channel, and the main carácter (Peçanha), is a success there,

When I proposed to watch this movie, I thought I would see a common besterol-style comedy and have a good laugh... but after about 20 minutes I decided to stop watching it, the movie is in total bad taste, foul jokes, swear words that I don't aggregate anything. If I had a score below 1, I would certainly give this disaster.

I rarely laugh in national comedies, which are getting worse and ridiculous and I can't take 15 minutes, but I laughed a lot in this movie from start to finish, as did my wife. I don't understand the low grade here on IMDB, it's probably the "mimizeiros" and "lacradores" who are offended by heavier jokes or black humor. The character of Peçanha is a lot of fun and the script knows how to explore the best of him. The actor who plays him is brilliant. There is only one serious problem with the sound, the dialogues are sometimes too low or sometimes it is incomprehensible due to mixing problems with the music and other noises. I'm sorry it's too short, it could have been extended to the normal length of a feature film.
