As a Canadian ex-pat I am always sure to check out some of the TV offerings from north of the border and usually I am very disappointed by all the shows I see, both in comedy and in drama. Other than "Orphan Black" there hasn't been too much to rave about from my home country on an ongoing basis since the days of Kids in the Hall, etc. Even "Hockey Night in Canada" is not very reliable any more since it moved to the new network with new personnel (seriously, I like George Strombo but as a hockey host he is terrible, terrible, terrible!)
So I was very pleasantly surprised by this show, "Call Me Fitz." I hadn't even heard of it and a friend from Toronto turned me onto it, so I figured why not try it out, and it's great! Very funny and Jason Priestly (a Canuck don't-ya-know) is great as a morally bankrupt car salesman with mental problems/visions.
It really flew under the radar but lasted a few seasons and is well worth checking out!

Hilarious! There's a lot of swearing and adult content so, don't watch with kids. A definite if you're a Jason Priestley fan.
Sonically hilarious, be patient and it gets even more messed up each episode.
ld also like to reply to the review that stated this isnt a comedy... simply watching the first 2 episodes of any show and quitting on it is exactly what is wrong with tv these days... if everyone quit game if thrones by the 3rd episode (like I almost did) we would all be missing out on tv greatness.
I watched one episode (Mayor Andrews - because of Joe Flaherty) I enjoyed it but didn't get the whole story. Decided to start at the beginning. OMG!!!! What a fabulous, odd, bizarre and entertaining show. Recommend it highly as long as you are open minded - sexy (not sex) stuff, language and situations. You know adult not child stuff. I can't tell you how funny and odd it is. Joe Flaherty put it best - he was scheduled to guest star. He couldn't believe it was airing - couldn't believe the writer / creator could come up with such stuff. I'm glad she did! One of my favorite shows and never knew anything about Jason Priestly before this show . Love it!
This has to be one of the best written, best acted, best produced and best directed shows on TV today!Chock full of raunchy adult humor,over-the-top,and offbeat characters.A totally unique show concept!I can't get enough of the handsome,ultra-talented Jason Priestley as the morally-challenged Fitz, played against the amazing Ernie Grunwald his "do right", out-of-body-conscience,Larry.The whole show is smartly written, brilliantly acted and a joy to watch! I am also proud to say that the Fitzgerald Car Sales Lot is located near my home and my brother-in-law,Geof,had the awesome opportunity to "strut his stuff" on the dance floor as an extra in Episode 6. I met Jason a few years back while he was in Chester filming a movie. He came to Lunenburg to do an interview on Good Morning America, which was doing a live show there, and I was privileged to be his umbrella holder during his interview with, then host,Joan Lunden,as it was pouring rain LOL "Call Me Fitz"is the cats' ass! Can't wait for the next episode!
