The climax reaches a new high in this greatly done 9th episode!! "(11/10) (Special Rating)"

(Shortened summary in the bottom of the review)

(From: Episode 9) Does so fantastic in all these mysteries things and setting up so many rich side stories to the main story, giving us this extremely rich in story and tv show that just make all the home detectives here geek out over all the unsolvable things happening.

And i see people talk about how they think its stupid that the show gives us so many mysteries, cliffhangers and fillers, but they are completely wrong, because it is exactly those elements that makes (From) so great, those elements made this show so no, the mysteries are not bad and of course we will get answers when the time comes, you have to understand the show would be ruined and have nothing about it if they, lets maybe say that they in episode 4 or 5 gave us every answer, because then everything after would be something we already know with no mysteries and then the creators would be forced to make filler episodes, which also leads me to something i want to say, funny enough there is no fillers in this show yet, how does people say that the show use fillers?? Do they not know what a filler episode mean, like come on, don´t come and make people not watch the show just because you couldn´t understand it and pls learn what the words mean before you use them. All this isn´t hate, im just trying to help here, so people don´t get scared away because of misunderstandings.

All in all, you should definitely watch this episode if you like what the show have done up until this point in time, with the intensity and climax getting higher than ever.

(11/10) such a great episode that all the home detectives should watch :)

Shortened summary: Ep 9 takes everything to new highs with this mystery packed, intense and scary episode of (From).

    Bluffing at cards

I wish I could see into the future and see if this series is bluffing big time that they've actually got a good story to tell us.

There's so much padding, so much talking about nothing, so much LOST style diversion and bait and switch,... if only there was a way to look into the future and see what they actually managed to deliver....... Kidding, I can see the reviews for season three and it's totally a bluff, They've got nothing, they're using the same tricks that destroyed LOST. They don't have a master plan, they have a list of cheesy distractions (attack in a tent anyone?, let's make a radio tower but rather than just get it going let's waste screen time by arguing that the batteries won't last for months, without running it for just minutes to start with, all the talk about maybe we don't realise how good we've got it here in this place where we're picked off by psychopath killers at night, who do talk but no one bothers to have a reasoned conversation with them to see what their aim is, it's lover or silence etc etc ) This is a long con by people who obviously don't understand how to make a satisfying strong story, and we know this because they worked on LOST.

The reviews for season 3 look terrible. Chocker full of bot entries.

    Odd decision making continues

I can understand the desire to try and create deep thoughtful characters and give insight to who they are, BUT it needs to be way more interesting than what they're giving us. The constant complaining and arguing over their old lives is hardly entertaining. I stated in other reviews the general concept is great and I'll watch to the end, but overall not keeping the tension on high is a mistake. These people are way too casual, as if they're not in a situation where one mistake at night and you die a HORRIBLE DEATH. And too much of the decision making is questionable given their situation. Why is Donna so bent out of shape about not keeping her group home intact? Putting a large number of people in one home is an insane idea. Mix in every night these people drink and do drugs to enhance their "community spirit". That's an easy pass as it just takes one weak, drunk, angry, deranged individual to open a door or window at night and everyone could die! Then you got Boyd camping outside in a tent..?

    Enjoyable episode but...

Another enjoyable episode-- but the cliffhangers drive me absolutely crazy.

And with just one more episode left, there is no way this show is going to explain even a significant portion of what's really going on in this strange nightmarish place.

Too bad that Epix won't let you binge watch all of the episodes of this really great series right now. So I envy those who'll encounter this series later on and get to watch all of the episodes in one or just a few days.

    Who tf is Eric

Father dies and nobody cares. Eric, who's been in one episode, sets off so much sorrow for no discernible reason.

And then people moan and complain they don't know if they want to leave? "Oh no! What if the radio doesn't work? People will be depressed!" They aren't depressed being stuck in a town?

"Why bother with the radio? I'll play make believe." You've been stuck here for less than three years in this place that doesn't make any sense, and you're poo-pooing a radio idea? Has it been done before? No? Then shut up!

"I think it's time we stop piecing together these drawings that are obviously a puzzle and play a dumb mindfulness game."

The writing for this show is SO. BAD.

    • Trivia
Tabitha's vision includes the sound of a baby crying and a phone ringing, both things that prominently featured in her explanation of how Thomas died in the previous episode.
    • Goofs
The enormous quantity of wires would not be necessary if they just build the radio central in the highest rooms of the house, Victor's bedroom, for example. The communication table would be protected from the night monsters as well as from weather damages.
