Wanted to watch a standard Bengali movie during this Puja. Took my family alongwith. The plot was weak from the beginning but the first half was bearable with some good moments specially the romantic ones and strong acting from Bumbada and Esha. The songs are good and shot very well. But after the interval, nothing can pull up the crappy load of pathetic screenplay and storyline. Nothing was sincere and convincing. Every minute i was praying to the movie god " ar choras na, ar choras na". But alas. By that time, director was grappling to find any tiny bit of story left to be screened but couldn't find one. So, 'golper goru totokhone gach chere akashe'. Nothing could have saved the movie by then, not even the strong casting. Such a pathetic waste of resources. Couldn't even stay on our seats till the end. Expectations shattered, time and money wasted. But nothing came close to the sadness to feel sorry for the unfortunate fall of Bengal cinema. Bengali directors and filmmakers seem to have lost every connection with their audience and even reality. Painful.
A movie that embodies hope and optimism in the midst of a never-ending sea of negativity, a storyline whose sole purpose is to advocate the concept of not giving up, not quit fighting, and I believe that given the current situation of unemployment, intolerance, and the subsequent aftereffect of depression; we all need motivation, inspiration, and a purpose to keep going, keep surviving, and I truly believe 'Kacher Manush' offers just that!
P. S. It's amazing to see how much Dev has matured as an artist; previously, I loved him in Buno Haansh, and now this performance of his will be a close second. He was convincing and conveyed all kinds of emotions in a convincing manner!

First of all it's a adapted film but in a dishonest manner. It's totally a bogus film. Disgusting writing, wrong characterisation & weak acting. An old school format dragged story. There are a lot of loop holes in everywhere. I'm very much disappointed. Direction is totally dull. Climax is the most irritating part of this movie. Songs are not use properly. The dialogues are also horrible. Many scenes are not connected with previous one. If anyone already watched "Jiban Kahini' (1964), available on Klikk or Partner (2008), available on YouTube, I don't suggest them to go to watch this worst film.
I wish I could give this movie a zero star.
Horrible scene, dialogue, all together not worthy at all. The complete story is based on nonsense and nothing. Poor acting of both Dev and Prasenjeet. Pathetic punchlines, worst climax I have ever seen in any movie.
Had to tolerate the whole movie hoping to get atleast some good part of the film, but no they have planned for something else for you to give u super headache. Story is nowhere connected from beginning to end. Unnecessary comedy scenes will give you heartattack. Dev should leave his acting career and find something else where he can be fit for his job role.
Super NO from my end!
Take ur own risk and watch the movie.
I generally don't pass negative comments but it wasted super crucial 3 hrs of my valuable time hence I have every right to give a review of this movie.

Dev da did a great job! I love the story and the cinematography as well. As dev fan I would say our paglo is perfect to act in any situation. Because he has been working in the film industry for 18 years. That's why this man has lot of experience. Dev has baan working with legendary directors in the Tollywood industry.
By the way
Prosenjit da is a tremendous actor. He is more experience then Dev da. I never expect they will collab !!! It's like dream come true for the Dav and Prosenjit fan.
Thanks to the crew members and the people who worked hard and give us a quality work.
God bless you guys.
