Charo (Snooky) and Raffy (Miguel Rodriguez ) are lovers when Charo started seeing another man (Richard Gomez). Charo knows what she is doing is wrong and avoids falling for Paul. One night, Raffy is enraged in not finding Charo and drives his car to look for Charo, he met an accident and died instantly. Raffy's rich family blames Charo for their son's early demise. Charo continues to avoid Paul in order to save face. After all, it's her "infidelity" that drove (literally) Raffy crazy enough that led to his accident. Rosemarie Gil plays Charo's mom, who does all she can to separate Charo and Paul.
As I sat through this 1986 movie, I can't help but wonder if this is still applicable in 2014 when there is already cellphone , Facebook or twitter so Paul can easily reach Charo. Not needing to go through the mother. Borlaza's drama maybe outdated but still a treat to see the stars in their younger years. Not so much substance here though. In the end, a passable, forgettable drama.
