I really enjoyed this, unlike many other reviewers here. I can't accuse this movie of being stereotypical, simply because so few movies actually address the issues portrayed here.
The way it DID portray those issues though was simplistic and comedic. It's more of a representation of those issues, rather than a serious depiction of them, and there's nothing wrong with that. There were some misguided moments. But I really appreciate the hints of something darker, and it left me wanting a lot more.
The acting was OK for what the movie was trying to do. It's a fluffy comedy, quit griping!
I really hope there's a sequel.

They try to make all the characters quirky, but they're just irritating and unlikable.
The lead actor looks like a serial killer.
The lead actress isn't pretty enough to star in a rom com.
She should have played one of the lead character's cute friends.
But I'd still have been okay if she had gotten naked.
Every scene and interaction moves at a hyper pace never giving the film time to breath.
There's sickly, happy-go-lucky, oh-golly-look-how-cute-they-are music playing constantly.
The music is like a bad TV sit com laugh track telling the audience where all the "funny stuff" is.
Don't bother with this.

Seriously I wish I had not watched this movie. Once I start something though I have to finish it. It was very cringey and played into boring stereotypes. Learn from my mistakes and suffering, do not bother with this.
The acting was stiff and uncomfortable. The plot was predictable. Why did someone make this ? I feel like there was no heart in this. It was rushed, tacky and the main lead actress lacked basic skills. I would pass on this one.
There really isn't much to like about this film. The acting is stiff, the pacing is weird. I'm not sure if the directing was off or if it was the writing (leaning toward the writing). The overarching voice goes for funny, but it's just annoying. I didn't believe any interaction in the movie. It felt very much like a student film, which - maybe it was?
The leads were frustrating and unlikable. When you first meet the guy I think they're going for him being a himbo, but you have to be likable to be a himbo. The first time we meet the woman, Molly, she is rude and self absorbed and it's supposed to be cute? It's not. The dialogue was super odd. I don't know if the writer knows how anyone actually talks - because no one speaks like that.
"You're lucky I don't condone violence." "You're lucky I didn't drink milk growing up." Hahahahaha......... no.
Honestly, if you're on the fence about watching this, it's completely passable. You aren't missing a single thing. I would give this a 0/10 if I could.
