The budget was so low that the director would purchase McDonald's food when it was discounted for the week (89 cent McNuggets, 39 cent Hamburgers, etc.) and save them for the week. Lead actor Ian one day ate McNuggets for lunch, threw them up outside later that day, and ate McNuggets again for dinner.
