Gravity

I have seen three episodes. The initial thought was that there has to be some hook or something somewhere to make the audience to come back for more, but so far I am wrong.

The acting is poor, characters flat, 'jokes' not funny, unimaginative script, no twists, no humour, nothing to disgust me, or feel any kind of emotion, or even make me think. It is as entertaining as watching paint dry.

If you are a fan of either House, Dexter, Lost, Chuck, Glee, or the slow paced Justified, then you probably will find this series (so far) very very disappointing, and that is being kind.

Just like chuck opened with Cake's 'Short Skirt, Long Jacket', this should have opened up with a version of "Mad World", but that would have been it's only redeeming feature, and a waste of a good song.

deep,funny and enjoyable. Eric has another winner. Thank you. great characters. well acted. can't wait till the next episode. Beautiful dark stories. Should be viewed by teenagers and the impressionable. Eric brings to life the thoughts and feelings that we all have about love and life. I am so happy this art is not on network TV so all the levels and depths can be touched of this taboo subject. This has the makings of the greats like The Saprano's, Deadwood, In treatment, Dexter and the United states of Tara. It looks like Starz is getting into the intelligent television business with Spartacus, Party on, and now Gravity. Just remember you don't have to go years between seasons. I am hoping that the suits leave this one alone. I know a great show like swingtown would have thrived had it not been on network TV. So suits, remember, you are not on network TV and Eric Schaefer was not meant to be on network. Go Gravity. Thanks Eric!

i've just finished the season and sad to find it didn't had a 2nd- what the hell happened??? i found it to b weird, funny and a really good drama (that Miller is a piece of work)the actors are good and the story lines r interesting...its a nice insight to life after,

i don't wanna give away any of the show but along the episodes u find each of the character's suicide story while discovering new things on Miller - i think he is the weirdest-craziest-scary and even touching character... Krysten Ritter proves she's great.

At the start of this series I thought I was going to have to shut it off. All of the main characters were boring and it was like a collection of people I didn't like. I have never been a large fan of Kristen Ritter or Ivan Sergei and I had zero interest in shipping this couple that literally starts out having sex at a drop of a hat. And Jorge's character is downright offensive. However, along comes Detective Miller. As a result of Lizzy's trying to kill herself she meets detective Miller who, as he reminds people, is watching her because suicide is still a crime. As the show goes along it keeps focusing on him. As if he is one of the main cast. At first I thought he was going to end up a member of the suicide group (and perhaps that was the plan for season 2) but it goes another way. I absolutely adored the character and watched the rest of the series to see him. The actor did a great job carving out a troubled but still lovable character that the audience can root for. I would watch the series for him but not feel too guilty about pressing the fast forward button often.

As soon as the first episode starts you cannot be helped for thinking you are watching one of those God awful day time amercian soaps. The sets are bad, the filming is bad, the actors are bad and thats not just due to the script being bad. I nearly gave up about 5 minutes in, but a gratuatous "night, night kitty" arse shot bought them a while longer. When its bad, it really has nothing going for it, but at times I found myself thinking of one of those dreary Cronenberg films like "Spiders" or the one with the rabbits. But unfortunately I do not mean this to be seen as a positive, because Cronenberg only gets away with it because of some of the excellent films he has made. IMDb lists this program as a comedy / drama. In my opinion the comedy is not funny and the drama less than dramatic. Avoid it, it cant possibly last.
