Minty Comedic Arts

YouTube's algorithm must have given me one of these a few years back, and I've been hooked ever since. His passion for movies shows through, and will make you watch 10 things... about films you've never seen, because he makes them seem interesting. After that you then hunt down the movie, to see what you've missed.

He's not dry and factual like most movie reviewers, who can seem jaded, but he genuinely seems to have enjoyed the movies he's reviewing, and passes that on to fans of his show.

His background, and the items he features, during the videos, make me extremely jealous, as he has collectables for everything, and I won't talk about his garage!

I found Minty a year or two ago, I don't remember how. I don't watch all of his videos, but I do enjoy the ones of the movies I like. I think Minty puts a lot of work into researching and writing a script for each video. There are many things I've seen in Minty videos that I never heard of before and I wouldn't have thought to look for myself. Yes, he can be a little cheesy :) but that's part of the charm.

Minty delivers fresh facts on a wide range of movies in a simple, fun, story telling fashion. I click on movies I've never heard of just to learn a thing or two. His enthusiasm is contagious and it's a big reason why whenever YouTube alerts me a new video is posted I click on it sometime that day.

His show is delivered in his homemade video store, a detail that makes you nostalgic for the Friday evening video store trip, stop by the dollar store for some cheap snacks, and the thrill of a double feature that keeps you up too late on a Friday night.

I can't recommend his show highly enough if any of those details are your bag.

I was shocked to see this YouTube series, rated so low and I highly disagree with the viewers review below me. Sure you can argue that you can find the information Minty provides in his videos anywhere online, but the way he presents it in his videos with great editing and well done video capturing is so satisfying. Above all I love minty and his likeable personality, well see ya later.

I've been watching his videos for years, I don't even remember the first time I saw one! His videos are well researched and he does both movies and some TV shows as well. I've even watched his videos about movies that I've never seen, and because of this, I have seen movies that I have never would have given a chance to otherwise. He is a true movie lover who even turned his garage into a replica vintage Blockbuster video store, complete with funky carpet, shelves and shelves of movies, posters on the walls, and memorabilia on display.

Give him a shot, he's sure to have something fun for you to view!
