What did I just watch???? Honestly, I like some of these actors outside of this dumb movie! This is trash and I wish I could unsee it.............. don't be fooled by the names attached to this. I recommend you to skip this one, it's so cringy! Complete waste of time. I can't believe so many people agreed to this mess. The writing is horrible. The storyline seems like it was written by a 4 year old. I haven't watched a movie this bad in all of my adulthood. I'm 32.

I can't express how annoyed I am for watching this. I seriously can't believe the stars that are apart of this mess. I could've written a more interesting plot!

This was THEE cheesiest, most useless movie I've ever seen! Total waste of money & time to have made this junk. I really don't understand what was the point of this horrendous movie and even more, I'm amazed that it was actually green lit to production. If there's an award for the most horribly written & most horribly acted movie, this is it! This movie had to have been written when the writers strike was going on because what in thee entire heck was that!?! I was looking forward to Cedric the Entertainers role and I was terribly disappointed. Ashanti isn't the best off actresses, but this role took down her acting cred at minimum, ten notches. If I could give zero stars, that's what it would get.

I'm getting tired and bored with Hollywood producing these silly, weak plot movies. This movie was both corney & silly. And to think... it's been given the opportunity to appear on Netflix. There wasn't one thing anout the story line or cast that warranted Netflix... or are they too just settling and buying any o'l thing (like Tyler Perrys, Mea Culpa 😖) Aside from the actor/husband to be (B. J. Britt) all of the acting was bad. The characters (like the hotel staff) was horrible. The jokes weren't funny. And the fake location was telling.

If Hollywood is gonna start producing junk like this, then they need to lift the harsh stipulations they put on new writers (with really great material I may add) who are trying to get their work seen & produced. OR how about just hire people who actually "know" how to decipher between good content & trash.

Whoever wrote this and directed it was very in touch with toxic masculinity and extremely out of touch with progressive, conscious interpersonal relationships. A movie where the bride was silenced and gaslit into being abused and disrespected continuously. Very hard to watch, we honestly almost didn't finish it, but it was like a train wreck, we couldn't look away. The music is atrocious and almost makes a person want to rip their eyeballs out. It reminded me of a Lifetime movie, very driven by the patriarchy, no depth, and completely nonsensical. I love the actors, they did a great job with what they were given. So this is nothing against them. A word of advice for the creators in charge, romcoms that are original and up to speed with at least the current median vibration of intelligence, are likely to fair better in an exponentially evolving world.

I normally don't review movies like this but I also try to avoid even watching a minute of movies like this. How do these get made? Why do these movies get made? I don't even feel like going through it....terrible writing. Terrible acting. Plot is ridiculous. I hated so many people in this. I hope you are reading this before you hit play and can actually go find something else. Anything else.i don't blame Cedric for being in this if he was handed a suitcase of money and told he has a couple scenes. I hope when I wake up tomorrow that the memory of this movie and even me writing this review will be gone from my memory.
