An interesting drama that will hold your attention for most of the runtime

A low budget drama about the loss of a good friend to a group of thirtysomethings in California. Not my usual brand of catnip but I thought I would give it a go.

The set up is basically'The Big Chill', but this time we have a ghost/imagined friend (re)appearing to our protagonist, coupled with unrequited feelings, betrayal and retribution.

The direction is quite good, the Ariel drone shots add foreboding. The acting is patchy, some of it is effective (the protagonist), some of it shows a lack of ....errrr...talent.

The script for the most part is pretty good although the ending was somewhat unsatisfying.

Nevertheless, worth a watch.
