Budget Student First Film - The Story is there!!

I am writing my own review. Initially this was written more as a feature film so alot had to be cut out. The production/crew including myself were all students. This is my first short film and I see the mistakes made and what could have been done so much better but the story is there and the cinematic picture when shot out at Piha was truely one of the best South Seas had seen in over 2 years. Te Akau made it into 3 NZ Short Film Festivals and Melbourne WIFF 2020. If you can get past the rookie look of this film and really understand the story then you will understand why this film was made. My feature film of Te Akau is in the writing stages and I hope one day the fullness of Te Akau in it's true form can be in production to be bought to the screen.
