Totally disgusting. Waste of time. They just cover there own faults. Even the actors has done a garbage job. They manipulated the history and Blame another third party to Cause the problem. It's a garbage movie I say.
Very good topic, great acting and direction. Loved every bit of it.. Yes it had a slow start. But later it picks up pace. Some features were so surprisingly good. Recommended. Do give it a try.. Watch it with family.
This movie is historically incorrect. This movie tries to portray that there was a third party involved for dividing the two countries. But the truth is Pakistan was alone responsible for Bangladesh to go against Pakistani atrocities and to ask for freedom. "Jhoothe ilzaam ka bojh?"- What are you trying to establish? Each and every allegation against Pakistan is true. Jinnah wanted Bangladesh to read and write in Urdu, they didn't even bother to help Bangladeshi people when bhola cyclone struck Bangladesh in 1970. And how could you ask us to apologise? Bangladesh was never sorry and we will never be sorry. Rather we are proud of our history. Go and read some books to know about your ancestors' misdeeds. Your ancestors killed 30 lacs people, they forced our own people to leave the country, they brutally raped our women. Our liberation war was not a joke that we would forget so easily. Don't play with historical facts to make money.
After seeing the glowing reviews online, I wanted to give this movie a chance. I really thought that this would address both perspectives of the war but to my utter disappointment, it didn't do that. It tried to paint Pakistan as the victim and hero who didn't do anything wrong and India as the villain. It implied that Bangladesh was seperated solely by India. I am not saying that India didn't have a role in the seperation, but to blame India completely is ignorant. We are to be blamed as well (Pakistani). Also I found the joke about the Hindu not being able to eat cow meat distasteful and the tea jokes were overused and unfunny after a while. This movie should have been a wake up call for our wrongdoings but it failed to do that. I gave it a 2 star because there were a few flashbacks which I really enjoyed.
Only if there was an option for zero stars. From my point of view utterly waste of my time. Don't recommend it to anyone even if you have spare time to do nothing then just go to bed and sleep this action will be interesting rather than hearing lame jokes about the Hindu religion no wonder why this Bollywood is dying .
