I LOVE this show! It's funny and quirky and quintessentially Canadian. I really hope it lasts cause we need a good show to watch and chuckle and feel good about.
Best Canadian show since the littlest hobo lol. I'm liking this show a lot. I think the characters are funny and likeable. Love the filming location. The only negative thing I have to say is there aren't enough episodes. Can't wait for more.
Awesome show! Great acting and scenes of Nova Scotia are outstanding. Can't wait for next episode.
My favourite thing about Moonshine is the cast of unique but relatable characters. Each one has insightful and cohesive elements that bring to mind someone you know, without being cookie-cutter or predictable. The interplay between them is highly relatable for anyone who adores their family, but has almost killed at least one member. Charming, quirky and unapologetically Nova Scotian, each episode will have you more invested, while providing a warm nest of escapism.
It seems underrated to me. This show s unique, exciting, and filled such aa great cast of characters (and actors) that will keep you smiling, make you feel invested, and occasionally touch heart. Even what may seem silly will be overlooked by the well written dialog.
This came to the U. S. from Canada during the writer's strike. Hopefully, it will return with more seasons and not just be a fill in that we never see again. My rating may be too high, but this show brought me nothing but joy. That's all entertainment is supposed to do.
Kudos to CBC for making lots of enjoyable productions. Many were introduced to us during the pandemic, but sadly never returned. May this, and more, make their way to the U. S. and actually get future season airings.
