I enjoyed the show very much. I hope they make a second season. The lead actor does a great job of creating.a believable although very depressed main character.
The dialogue is fairly snappy and keeps things moving along.
My only complaint is that the main character tends to wallow a bit-in self-pity,
But when the science-fiction aspect of the show kicks in some of the things that happen earlier in the season, make more sense.
Worth watching.

This show is a masterpiece. I love how it's a black cast version of black mirror. I definitely think this show has potential for a long run. However, am I experience any sci-fi black shows that are good always get canceled prematurely. For example, the watchmen on HBO. I just wanna highlight. It's an amazing cast.
This show was very funny, with a fun plot & great messaging. It's not your typical sci-fi episodic, it has great substance but doesn't feel too serious or heavy. They did a phenomenal job with this gem of a movie & Martin is HILARIOUS!!! Really enjoyed the series; great performances, fun sci-if story with meaning & purpose while keeping you engaged & excited. I only wish it got picked up for a 2nd season.
While the series was better than some of the trash shows out there, I did not find it to be extraordinary. The basic premise is interesting of being able to experience how your life might have gone give different circumstances. To me, it seemed like they couldn't really move past the color of the main characters skin. I did find the acting and scenes to be a bit forced at times, and didn't really flow organically. Overall, it is worth a watch, but not a re-watch.
This was so fresh and unpredictable. This is the kind of new ideas Hollywood needs. AMC has great instincts for new points of view. I hope there'll be a new season. I want to know where the writer takes all of these rich, funny characters! The older generation of actors do a beautiful job of holding the show down. And the younger actors are a fun new find!

- TriviaIt was announced in January 2023 that AMC cancelled this series (about a black man attempting self-discovery through digital therapy) while it was in the middle of production. It was cancelled alongside a handful of other TV shows (Moonhaven, 61st Street, Invitation to a Bonfire) that AMC Networks was scrapping as part of a major write-down to save the company $400 million in content production costs.
