I can't say it's the strongest season of all time, but definitely one of the strongest finales.
I didn't know this was the season finale until looking it up because it doesn't really feel one - I had to look up who Colonel Vindman was, but that didn't make this episode any funnier because Larry was doing the same Trump jokes that were being made 4-5 years prior by everyone from SNL to Family Guy to South Park (all shows that are equally out of/running out of steam,) as well as a lazy Mormon joke that's been made numerous times before about having multiple wives and enjoying all of them, which seemed completely out of character for LD.
The sideplot with Leon finding a Mary Ferguson, although drawn out, was probably the highlight of this season and Leon himself gets some comeuppance in this episode - besides that, it was just not that funny.
The whole season was kinda predictable and wasn't as hilarious as the previous seasons, but this finale was definitely hilarious at times, especially the ending.
Even though I knew they were gonna go this route, I didn't expect the twist with Vindman and it was really funny.
I think the charm of this show was that they had no real script and improved all their lines, and that was what made this show so special and unique. But this season especially, I don't if they dropped the improv(which I doubt) or they added more script and lines. It just doesn't feel like the brilliant older seasons. I just hope if Larry is gonna do another season, he gets better ideas. I don't think they're running out of ideas, just that the ideas they're coming up with are not that interesting. Which I hope he makes more seasons, because this is not the Series' Finale I want.

- Quotes
Jeff Greene: Jeff Greene: Can I get you a drink?
Irma Kostroski: Irma Kostroski: No, I don't drink. I'm in recovery, as Larry knows. I have a terrible relationship with alcohol. I was a horrible person. I was blacking-out in council meetings. And then my personal low: I woke up, I was 50 miles outside of Bakersfield with no pants on and a casino chip in my hand, and I had no idea how I got there. That's when I realized I had to get help, so I'm in the program, which is just fantastic. And I had to acknowledge that there's a Higher Power. You have to give yourself over. Uh, I had a sponsor. I had four Steves and one Eric. And I have to go. I have to go and mingle out there, but I thank you for asking. God bless you, Jeff, for caring and asking. If you ever get into the situation... But thank you. Thank you! God bless! God bless!
