A Conventional Yet Occasionally Creative YA Time-Travel Tale

This film is squarely aimed at children and young adults. While its premise isn't particularly original, it handles its familiar tropes with enough creativity to feel somewhat fresh-though, ultimately, we're still left with a decidedly average movie. The flashes of ingenuity (likely thanks more to the director's vision than the screenplay's strengths) aren't enough to sustain momentum. The story lacks the peaks and valleys needed to engage its target audience, especially younger viewers, leaving it emotionally flat and rhythmically uneven.

The acting is serviceable but unremarkable. Patricia Soto and Héctor Suárez Gomiz deliver the standout performances, despite their limited screen time. The child actors are decent, though their occasional missteps can be chalked up to inexperience.

Where the film truly falters is in its muddled time-travel rules-its mechanics are confusing, and the underdeveloped side characters fade into the background, making their feds feel irrelevant. There's a sense that the filmmakers wanted to delve deeper into the psychological dimensions of childhood trauma, but this ambition never fully materializes. Had they committed to that path, the result might have been far more compelling.

Not disappointing but not surprising either

This movie has a good concept that is not executed properly.

The story may be simple, but it is also sad, its background makes it interesting, but the execution is not the best, there is little development of what happens, in the same way the characters do not have a wide development. At times the tone feels very childish, and this changes the quality of the film, which becomes a story to entertain and works to turn off the brain, just that. The acting isn't the best, but the story is linear and doesn't ramble into subplots that don't end in anything, like most Mexican movies. There are some moments that don't fit the plot and ruin the credibility of the story, but the story makes it stand out from other Mexican productions.

The concept is good, but the execution is not surprising, even so the script complies with following a story with more coherence than other Mexican films, becoming entertaining, with a childish tone that could be interesting for children, I think that if it were a Hollywood movie would have more talk about it and pass off as an entertaining movie to turn off the brain.
