Since I am starting a community of tiny homes for the homeless this movie touched me in so many ways. Dealing with the struggles but with God's help in touching people all things are possible. Loved the movie!
This movie will really cause you to think and consider how you are investing in others, are you fulfilling God's call upon your life? There are upsetting and deeply disturbing parts of the story that will leave you thinking about it long after you leave the theater.
I rarely endorse a movie and more rarely a true-life movie, but I fully endorse and support the movie "No Vacancy" by Kingstone Studios. It not only portrays how Christians should act, but it also shows how Godly Churches and Pastors should act! And how God will reward them and those they minister to.
The movie follows an addict and shows how he is brought from desperation with a death wish to helping others overcome what he overcame.
I missed the intro where it said it was a true story and halfway through the movie I thought the world would be different if only this was true; if only all churches did this, if only more people did what the reported did. When the end came and they showed the real-life people with the actor and describe their lives I totally rejoiced!!
This one Church changed a city!! Can you imagine what would happen if all the Churches that call on the name of the Lord would do this?

A well produced film, properly representing a realistic drama and story that Orlando and the world needs to hear. Very good music choice and loved how the ending had testimonials of what is happening with the lives of people marked by the shelter. Thank you for making this film! Go see the movie if you haven't!!
No Vacancy is a good, heartwarming tale, which is especially crowd-pleasing as it is based on a true story.
Brandi Michaels (Sean Young) is a news reporter who lives with her mom and an alcoholic brother (Wade Hunt Williams). Being a very close-minded person, her view of the world changes when she meets a homeless drug addict (T. C. Stallings). She believes that people are only out for themselves, but when she discovers a church that is struggling to purchase a motel for homeless families, her thoughts change.
The storyline hooked me into the movie the most. I found it very exciting. Even though this isn't an action movie, No Vacancy is engaging. Sean Young, who plays main character Brandi, is an exceptional actress when it comes to emotion. She has subtle expressions which contribute to my overall favorable opinion of this film. Brandi is portrayed as a simple person whose view of the whole world changes after she sees how unselfish and altruistic people can be, and the character development portrays this evidently. The pace of the film is perfect, not being too fast or too slow.
The message I took away from this film is that selflessness does exist, and when someone is selfless it can mean a great deal more than people may think it will. There are scenes that show smoking, and there are depictions of alcohol and drug addiction. No Vacancy is suitable for more mature children as there is no severe profanity or intimacy.
I give No Vacancy 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for mature kids ages 12 to18, plus adults. No Vacancy releases in theaters on May 9, 2022. By Apurva S., KIDS FIRST!
