This documentary takes a good look at many many previous instances of police brutality, what causes them, and how we can prevent them and protect those in danger.

It is interesting and the research behind it doesn't pull any punches. It is brutal to watch some of these videos, but they make you truly feel that sadness and anger down to your gut.

Overall, I thought it was a good watch... until I got to the end.

While I do agree there needs to be a mutual relationship built between citizens and police if we want successful reform, to them say that we should all share a responsibility in not provoking police officers to act of line is so insanely out of touch...

Yes, you should respect workers around you, regardless of job, but there should always always ALWAYS be an expectation of police to NEVER respond with deadly force when the suspect is unarmed and not a threat. It does not matter how defiant they are being verbally, it is never okay to be physical or kill someone.

Why is it domestic abuse when a spouse hits their partner during an argument but an "understandable fear response" when a police officer shoots someone?

If your PTSD is so wildly out of control that you respond to situations like this with murder or violent force, you shouldn't be working this job. Period.
