Frogger

This series seems like it was a direct result of the popularity of The Floor is Lava as the feelings for the show are so much the same. Whereas The Floor is Lava is an escape room style series this one is an obstacle course, but both are based on popular games. This is a fun show to watch but is more gimmick than anything else (which is probably why it only lasted a single season). It feels like it wants to be American Ninja Gladiator but comes up short. This being said, it is entertaining especially since so many of the contestants seem to be having a lot of fun at their own expense. It you like these style of game shows, you'll enjoy this one.

Who remembers playing Frogger as a kid? All of us, right?!?!

I am SO excited to see this game come to life in these larger-than-life obstacles! Each episode features three different rounds with a final round between the three winners.

The cast is super diverse (yay diversity!), and the hosts are corny but have great jokes.

Can't wait to see more!

It looks vaguely frogger, and the hosts make me want to go deaf. Mildly entertaining to watch people spectacularly fail, but that's about all there is to this show. It's less frogger, more "hey remember how cool the 80's were? Frogger is such a cool game and I definitely know what frogger is and I'm definitely not being paid to read this script." Obstacle courses are frogger-esque, but to be fair I don't know how much you can do with a road and a lake. Everything in episode 1 was "don't fall into the water" and so I was disappointed not to see anything relating to dodging cars and the like. Hopefully if they do make a Season 2 they have more variety.

I LOVE that they turned Frogger into a gameshow! One of my favorite video games growing up.

What a FUN show- the hosts and contestants are super entertaining, and the sets are soooo impressive.

How awesome!

It's so fun and nostalgic. The hosts are funny and the contests are diverse in every way. They can win up to 100k at the end and the boss toad rounds are hilarious.
