Oru Thekkan Thallu Case

First few minutes is too slow , it took several minutes to understand in what direction movie to lead Biju acting is so good and natural and that is core strength for the movie , Background score requires little bit of sense to the visuals It's quite surprising the whole village is chasing with so much of torch in their hand not able to recognise Ammini Annan before he enters the house for lungi is not impressive ,as a directorial effort for Sreejith is good and can be good in future to make screenplay more effective.there is bright future for him .Padmapriya suits the character well so as Nimisha.

ORU THEKKAN THALLU CASE is a perfect example of how a small thread of story can be picturised well in to a cinematic experience. Usually stories such as short as these are complexed in to many events in the movie. Kudos to the entire team and director Sreejith for making this movie a brilliant watch feast.

Biju menon, Roshan, Padmapriya and Nimisha Sajayan were the lead actors in this movie. Everyone has performed to their best. OTTC is a realistic and fresh approach. The story is happening in the Southern part of Kerala. The Art, choreography deserves a big praise as they've put the maximum effort to show the period of pre 2000 in the specific part of a state. Also the improvisation in the slang of the particular place is also top notch. Overall a funny, fresh and realistic watch.

An amazing moving all through and eBay aging enough ... may be not so great climax ... amazed to know it's a first time director ... make up and art to create the old days is perfect ... excellent acting .... Cinematography ... a thin story line but very well made .... on more class director to look forward to 👍🏻😃

Background music is excellent and lifts the movie very well... a very well coordinated movie .. the comedy timing is great .... Just don't expect anything ... sit back and get along with the flow ... biju men on and Roshan are just super ... a different one for Roshan .... Biju takes over from AK movie ....

Movie is engaging in most part, part of the story telling is really good , part of it is flat. But certainly worth a watch

What stand out is the base story , it presents a new landscape, some new twists and turns , lot of genuineness. The script , while not best is also good. There are some good humor that fits well in the movie. Climax was also good. Director looks confused between realistic and action thriller. Good attempt to pick this story though

Biju Menon is probably not the best cast for this , appear lazy for the character . Roshan , Nimisha and padmapriya was good. So as the new cast of Roshan friends, especially the police guy.

Over all one should give it a try. I liked it.

Oru thekkan thallu case is a kind of revenge story where ammini pilla played by biju menon, the biggest rowdy in the village seeks revenge on podiyan (played by roshan mathews) and his gang.

The best thing about the movie is cinematography by madhu neelakandan, especially the night sequences were beautifuly done. Some shots reminded me of scenes from the movie jallikattu (the scene where people run with a fires stick on their hand). The perfomance by all the actors were really good, but i would like to give a special mention to biju menon as ammini pilla, he was just awsome, It is his perfomance that holds the audience till the end. Nimisha sajayan, padmapriya, roshan mathew and all his gang members, everyone deliver a good perfomance. The music by just vargese was really good, I loved the two songs and the background score was really nice especially the one given to biju menon. The action sequences were really good, it felt part of the story and narrative rather than something to show heroism, the action sequence in the night where podiyan and his gang attack ammini pillai was nicely executed. The production design and art work was superbly done, it transports us to the time period of late 80s Or early 90s. The costumes, props used all are done nicely to match the time period.

The issue I had with the movie is in the second half, since a good villian Or antaganist was missing, I didn't feel a anticipation towards the end. I felt the writers could have created a much better villian.

Overall, definitely a good watch if u love revenge action drama.
