    Overwhelmingly Nostalgic and Addictive

New Super Mario Bros. retains all the awesome aspects of SMB3(NES) and Super Mario World (SNES) that made it loved all over the world. Our spunky plumber, the princess and adorable villains are all in place and the stage is set for yet another tale of blissful video game awesomeness.

The gameplay is additive as uaual and uniquely SMB. Apart from throwing in new interesting obstacles and powers, real-time multiplayer gameplay is finally a reality.

Ah what can I say? I am a sucker for nostalgia and this game lets out the inner child I guess. I am definitely not a fan of our state-of-the-art 3D shooter and strategy games, and this is one of the few games that re-affirms my faith in video games. Legendary Nintendo has yet another winner that will stand the test of time.

    Really boring

I don't understand how people love this game and enjoy it every time they play it because when I play this game I just sit there feeling empty inside because this game is just so empty. The levels drag long for way too long and some just feel the same. From beginning to end it just feels like a game that is just there to be a cash grab and nothing else it feels like no creativity went into the levels at all which just sucks for a Mario game in general. I honestly like the other new super Mario bros games because they feel like they do something different, now yes New super Mario bros U you could argue that it's the same as the Wii version as well but for some reason I had I better time with that game than this one.

There are some things that I liked though such as this game being 4-player which many people say is the best thing about this game. The final boss fight is really nice and epic and I would say the best one out of the New Super Mario Bros series. Also, world 9 has some actually pretty decent levels and it feels a little different than the main story mode levels.

Overall this game is just not great in the slightest and although there is a couple things good you just end up being born mainly throughout the whole entire game with there being 1 or 2 good levels along the way to the final boss. Playing it for the first time will probably be the only time you'll get fun out of this game because the more you come back to this game the boring it gets (seriously it took me so long to finish this game because it's that boring).

    I love it!

This game is so much fun and exciting if you ask me how the game was! I liked the music and the game play, with makes me want to get New Super Mario Bros. 2. It's so much better than New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, which was boring as hell. You also get to ride Yoshis and make them eat fruit so they can give you more goodies if you need any. Even New Super Mario Bros. U is as good as this game, they both have the same amount of fun. I guarantee they'll both have over a 9/10 some day, like New Super Luigi U already reached a 9.1/10. I can play this game all day long for years. A 10/10 would be the right rating for this game and other games similar to it (Except New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, it deserves at least a 5 or 6/10).

I've done it, I've defeated Bowser I've defeated the Koopa

About: Saving the Princess and jumping.

    Story: No story.

Production: A good game for the then current gen. Tons of fun and challenges. The power ups were cool.

Highlight: Defeating the Bowser just felt so sweet. This was the first Mario game I defeated in the then current era. It just felt so good. After you play one game though, they all felt the same.

Soundtrack: Cool. Typical Mario soundtrack. Sand world and Forest world had the best sound.

    Main intelligence: 1

    Unworthiness Level: 0

Should you play this game? I'm going to speak from the guy that defeated this game back in 2011. Yes. The game was fun and required great hand eye coordination. I had so much fun and memories playing this game. The current me says no. Games like these are a waste of time.

new super mario bros (ds) but again

This game, while very good, isnt very original in retrospect. its really just new super mario bros but on a wiimote and with some more players. still a fun game nonetheless, and at the time didnt make everyone want to bash their skull in, since it was only the second new soup clone.
