Please take my advice and skip it. It was so boring that even at the climax ending I used fast-forward to get over with it.
It has nothing to offer. The story sucks and so does the script and the acting. After half an hour you hope that something will come up but it doesn't untill the last 5 minutes and what a dissapointment!
Some guys praisint it must be out of their minds. Comparing it to the Evil Dead! And classic comedy! Where the hell is that comedy?!
I guess people have diffrent tastes but this one must be the norm for bad taste.
Better spend your time elsewhere.
Don't say you were not warned.

Caught this one on Tubi and have to admit that it took a little while to get going but it grew on me. Typically don't watch slower burns but this one was different and the ending is a certified banger. Everybody was believable - really well acted from top to bottom. Cinematography was top notch for something that sounds like it had a smaller budget. Setting was cool. And yeah, it takes a lit bit, but once it rolls into the last act, the blood is flying and it's a hell of a time.
Can't wait to check this one out again to see how all the threads work. Definitely check this one out if you like your horror with a bit of drama. A real indie gem.

What a build up, some of the best drama I have ever seen. You will be rewinding this I promise you.
A great and diverse selection of single adults here that are enough to carry any horror movie right up to it.
Incredible dialogue, each character must surely have been allowed to write their own lines.
It gets sinister fast and then decides to have fun instead, during which, there are only vague references to trouble and one dramatic sequence.
It all comes out at the end and oh my god what on earth is happening!
I can only say that a serious ending might have cast doubt on some of the greatest fun ever. For a horror fan however, such frivilous safety will cost an otherwise 8+/10 movie a couple of points.
With soo much fun being had one wonders why even make this a horror movie.

I was initially intrigued by the movie's cover and it's title. Sure, I had never heard about the movie, but it seemed like a horror movie that might prove interesting enough. And given my love and fascination with all things horror, of course I opted to give the movie a chance.
The storyline in "Everwinter Night" was a massive swing and a miss. There was nothing entertaining enough it as it dragged on with its pointless narrative. And I am not kidding when I am saying that there was nothing worthwhile to sit through as director Adam Newman stumbled about like a bull in a fine porcelain store. It was difficult to sit through this borefest of a movie.
In fact, I endured a staggering 73 minutes of absolute boredom out of a total of its 105 minutes total runtime. By then I was just bored to tears. There literally was no point to the storyline that writers Chris Goodwin and Adam Newman had put together.
I was not familiar with the actors and actresses on the cast list. But I will say that the acting performances were fair enough, just a shame that the actor and actresses had nothing wholesome to work with in terms of script, dialogue, characters or contents.
Do yourself a favor and give "Everwinter Night" a wide berth. It just simply isn't worth the time of day. Some of us suffered through this dumpster fire of a movie so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.
My rating of director Adam Newman's 2023 borefest of a movie titled "Everwinter Night" lands on a one out of ten stars.

The 10/10 star reviews must have come from people associated with the film itself. Calling this movie a "Classic" or anything else positive is garbage. I couldn't even finish it. Frankly, I'm not even sure what the hell this movie is about and I watched 3/4 of it! Definitely NOT a horror movie. The writing is terrible which contributed to the confusion about what exactly the movie was about. The acting was pretty bad. Only the main actress had a bit of talent. So I hope you will do yourself a favor and skip this one. I wish I could get my time back. I guess I know now why a 2023 movie went straight to Tubi streaming?
