We have to take into account the budget involved and the timing. This movie is horror and mystery. From the perspective of every character. Not delving too deep into everyone's back story but doing the perfect amount. Contrasting characters trying to survive. The focus is on human behaviour during a crisis. With high pressure moments and logical decision making from characters. Twists in the tale from every direction causing further unease within the household.
I would very much like to see a sequal. This has me hooked. I want more from this story as it truly has me enthralled in it's setting, threats, characters, plot and it's great creativity.

"Shifted" is an outstanding cinema experience! Fable Forest Films keeps the pedal to the metal in this this horror whodunit.
The cinematography throughout is just excellent. Director Adrian Konstant blends great camera angles, lighting and a well-dressed set to punctuate the overall creepy feel of this horror thriller. The sense of isolation is depicted so vividly and with great care.
The cast is also ten-star worthy. Derek Lackenbauer is to be commended for his apt skills in depicting the sinister character of Derek and is backed by a great ensemble cast.
Overall, an excellent installment from Fable Forest Films!

Fake reviews really irk me. I used to love IMDB, as I could turn to it for accurate reviews and ratings. Now, it's filled with fake reviews and inflated ratings.
After reading the reviews for this, I gave it chance, and lemme tell you...TWICE during the movie I had to pause it and reread reviews, as I thought I must have read reviews for the wrong movie. Sadly, that was not the case...they were just fake reviews.
This movie is terrible.
It is horrible.
It is atrocious.
It is awful.
If you don't fall asleep in the first 45 minutes, please know that it does not change for the second 45 minutes.

Only really got to this because of a trial I have. Was not expecting much at all but by the end I was actually surprised by what it had "shifted" into. Generic premise of zombies not zombies and a house of survivors but one of them is a murderer (the surprise is killed off from the get go tho which was probably a mistake). For what it's budget likely was it was pretty impressive. The acting is well enough and the monsters are pretty well done. I was actually surprised with the ending which is rare these days. The characters and situation have a slight "Silent Hill" type vibe IMO. I figured this would be a 5 or 6/10 but it works the extra mile so 7/10 for me.
This latest effort by Fable Forest Films is a departure from their pervious projects, however they seemed to find their mark with this thriller/horror film. Written by Jason T. Green and Adrian Konstant, Shifted takes into a world where the characters are fighting for survival on multiple fronts. No one is safe if they stay where they are, no one is safe if they leave. No one knows who or what can save them.
The ensemble cast of actors do a great job of engaging the audience and bringing this story to life. Michael Wurtz and and Derek Lackenbauer give especially strong performances.
Overall this is a great piece of independent film work and a must watch for anyone who is looking for an original thriller/horror type experience.
