It is clear to me that this story contains much more than what appears on the surface. It gives me the feeling that its creator and writer is someone with a sensitivity and talent that has yet to be discovered and honored in cinema. Since her novel in which this film is inspired is working so well and has a depth and dimension I rarely find in others... I'm really looking forward to seeing her next works. I enjoyed watching See you on Venus and loved the charisma and tenderness Virginia Gardner brings to her character, cause is close to Mía from the book. Thanks for creating such a lovely story.
Acting is pretty atrocious from almost every character. Everything is stiff, the music is predictably cheesy and immature, like the background of a barney episode.
Script is predictable, cliche, and well, dorky.
It seems like an AI wrote this script.
All the scenes seem really rushed, like this was a first time director just trying things out for the first time, and wanting to get everything done in one take.
Seriously, you could guess the next line of each character. That's how predictable everything is. Here's the part what they cry, here's the loving father son moment, etc.
Don't waste you time. There are much better movies in this genre.

This is a movie with a deep message that I also enjoyed after reading the original novel written by Victoria Vinuesa. I loved to watch how the characters open up about their true worries in a different, loving and totally truthful way that I have never seem till now in a movie. Some of my beliefs, regarding life after death and how much loved we truly are, completely changed. Mia is a character that helped me to question myself, as after seeing her deep love for humanity and her true worries about our indiferent behaviour, I couldn't resist to question myself in that way too. With no doubt I recommend watching the film and also reading the book.
Two strangers: Mia, an orphaned girl, and Kyle, a boy reeling from the guilt of a fatal accident, hit the road to find Mia's biological mother. The characters are likeable, their journey is all fun and the Spanish scenery is just beautiful. The story is emotional and a little bit of a tearjerker, too.
Unlike recent YA movies (After, Through My Window, Beautiful Disaster, My Fault), this one is not centered on fighting & sex scenes; instead, it gives off the vibes of good old romances about young love from several years ago. It's the right choice if you want to watch something sweet & cute at the weekend or on a Friday night.

It is very good movie, I recommend everyone watch it. The story is nice and meaningful especially for young people who have not that experience in life. For example Kyle was down after the accident but Mia was full of energy at that moment, when things changed the situation flipped, it means if you failed, give it another chance. Also the hope of the girl was to see her biological mother, after all those difficulties, the mother was not in a position to even keeping her girl for a while, it means if you only see a case in your perspective without considering other's view about the problem, it may not be fair. After all I liked the movie, it is full of hope lessons and it worth watching. By the way I only rated yhe movie by its contents and coversations, may the ability of the actors not as required for a perfect movie, but they are young and new, lets give them more tries.
