Operation Repo

They do so much that is illegal it has to be fake. Matt would be in Jail constantly for Assault and the fat girl also for Assault. The Fat girl tends to grab people around the throat and go into peoples pockets. That is Assault & attempted robbery. No one has a right to go into someones pockets. Only the police can if they are arresting you. If done to me I'd protect myself and she be in the hospital. I have never hit a woman but, she is no woman and when grabbed by the throat from behind, a persons normal reaction is to remove the threat. You would not consider it being a man or woman behind you just a life threatening threat. No one would be arrested for protecting themselves. She should be arrested on being hard on the eyes as well.

How ironic. Some people like reality TV shows so now someone decides to make another show that pretends to be reality TV but in fact is totally FAKE and scripted/acted.

Basically, this would be an interesting show depicting some very strange and over the top scenes if it was truly real. The producers of the show have gone to great lengths to try and depict it as real life drama but of course it is all fake. Many of the concocted "repo" scenes are nothing short of totally ridiculous and are indicative of the lack of creativity of the writers and producers. All the "repo" scenes are scripted with actors in all parts. But of course the acting is dreadful as you might expect in a show like this. Watch a few episodes and you will see just how bad the acting is as well as recognizing that the characters are only performing a script.

Essentially the series is a waste of time. Why bother to watch third rate amateur class acting and amateur C grade scripts for a show that "pretends" to be reality. It's a performance and not a believable one at that.

Matt and Froy were the best part of the show. Sonya and Lindah did nothing but complain and Lou had zero business acromen. I have to say lizard lick and South Beach tow are better. The family has put the employees in danger too many times to treat them like they did. They make people think that they are greedy gluttons with their appearance and attitude. Matt has an anger problem and he still did a better job than the other idiots that worked there. They are a miserable family that is very greedy and they only care about themselves and family and even the wicked takes care of their own. Sonya especially is horrible.

If it wasn't for the fact that it is all filmed in my Chatsworth neighborhood, i might have believed it to be somewhat real .... but every week they arrive at the same Commercial area in Chatsworth to start filming ...

Oh, they might drive a block or two to a residential area to add a little "realism" to the boring episodes, but FAKE it is, folks ...

Too bad they couldn't afford REAL Aftra actors .... but with such a low budget show, I'm surprised they can pay for Craft Services!!

Having been a REAL Repo man for a decade in L.A., as well as a licensed tow truck operator, i can tell this so-called "show" doesn't even have a technical adviser on the payroll..

It's just a waste of TV time ..... but the no-talent actors must be happy, free food, fat paycheck ..and the idea that you go home each night "thinking" you have acting ability.

Around the same time Court TV became TruTV, this show came about. If it's not broke don't fix it. My only guess is that if Court TV was a success they wouldn't have changed it. The name TruTV is a wink-and-nod that "true" stories don't matter anymore as much as entertainment. At the start of every episode, the viewers are informed that the events are inspired by real events with some names changes. IMDb has this show in the category of "Fictional Reality TV", a genre I hadn't known of before. Unlike regular sitcoms or dramas the expectations are different. It gets the lowest number possible because I don't enjoy these kind of reenactments.
