Which people grew up in Red states, oppressed families, or in the middle of nowhere. As someone who grew up in a suburb of NYC and graduated high school in 1994, I can 100% say that there were girls like the cousin in my school. Considering I went to one of the best high schools in the country, it makes sense as there is a proven correlation between intelligence and more liberal ideologies.
People who are able to write shows like this are clearly intelligent, so it makes sense that they have a more liberal slant. People just seriously need to realize that.
This show is hilarious. I'm sure there's lots of jokes that just go over peoples' heads. That's smart humor for ya.

This series ended up being alot better then I thought. Good character build up and every episode was enjoyable. Binge worthy series that I got through in two nights. I'm hoping season two doesn't get cancelled. Good acting and good jokes on top of it. If you haven't watched it definitely recommend. Wish there was more then seven episodes for the first season because now Im left waiting.
I'm writing this review after watching the first season and I have to admit I loved it! I watched it not expecting much, given I didn't particularly enjoy the two Ted movies, but oh boy this series was a treat. The cgi of Ted was done so well that there wasn't a single moment that made me think "oh it's not really there". The humour was actually funny this time around, the kid protagonist sells it as a younger version of the movie protagonist. I appreciate very much how the mother is depicted, so many modern series have a mother who's alcholic or she's indipendent and strong. Not here, she is a loving mother that loves to be that, and that's fine. I also liked the father, and despite me don't minding the girl I still have no clue what she is supposed to be. Is she a cousin? Why is she living with them? In the movies there was like a flashback scene but she wasn't there, so is she a new character introduced in this prequel series? You know I'm looking too much into the lore, this is Ted not Futurama.
Anyway, would I reccomend it? Absolutely, go on and watch the bully episode.

Mind blown! As a die-hard Family Guy fan, I wasn't sure what to expect from Ted Live, but this show is an absolute game-changer. The humor, the characters, the absurdity - it's all so perfectly crafted. I'm obsessed! If you're a fan of Seth MacFarlane's style, you owe it to yourself to check this out. Can't wait for more!
This Ted reboot brings the foul-mouthed teddy bear back to life with all the crude humor you expect, but this time with a fresh cast that nails the chaotic, raunchy vibe Seth MacFarlane set in the movies.
From the jump, Seth MacFarlane still voices Ted, delivering that perfect blend of vulgar wit and surprising charm. But the human cast is totally different here, and they bring their own flavor.
Alanna Ubach takes on Lori, the ever-patient girlfriend who tries to keep John in check, but honestly, this Lori's got a sharper edge. Then there's Max Burkholder as John Bennett, a relatable everyman who struggles to keep up with Ted's nonsense but still brings heart to the madness.
The supporting cast rounds out nicely with a mix of new characters who add fresh chaos and humor, making the series stand on its own and not just a copy of the films.
This version isn't trying to be a carbon copy - it's wilder and more adult, leaning harder into the raunch and randomness. The pacing can be uneven, and some jokes hit better than others, but when it's on, it's really on.
For fans of the original Ted movies who want more of that crude, unpredictable energy without the Hollywood gloss, this show delivers in spades.
