    Great Show.

Burnistoun is a great blend of wacky characters, wonderfully silly sketches and unique storytelling. It's a little bit crude in places and there's a lot of those moments where you wonder if there really are people like the characters. Whether it's Alex Ciderson's adverts of outrageous products or something like a serial killer whose disgruntled at his portrayal in the press, it's definitely a rather amusing watch.

    Pretty awful

If you enjoy a string of one-liners, strung together with no theme or consistency then you might enjoy this.

I was brought up in England, spent a few months each year in Scotland and continue to visit Scotland each year, yet I found most of the dialogue impossible to understand.

I enjoy British humour, yet most of what I watched made little sense--and was not funny. Clearly this sitcom is going to divide viewers into either the LOVE IT camp or the HATE IT camp. Try it--you'll know in five minutes if it tickles your funny bone. It didn't tickle mine--indeed it made it numb!

    Modern Vaudeville Style

Definitely speaks to an older comedic appreciation, but with modern content. Don't get me wrong, I love SNL, but often their sketches are too long. These sketches are shorter, faster, and have hilarious punch lines. This show is a specific style taste and not for everyone, but I loved it! Truly funny one liners and lots of physical comedy are my style. *just a side note: If you have a hard time with non American accents, it may take a little while to adjust to this.

    Very funny show

I'm from Cumbria. so I get the accents. Other people might not. This show was so funny. I really liked it. Great characters. Davey McGrogan. Jolly Boy John. You have to watch this.
