    Very funny show

I'm from Cumbria. so I get the accents. Other people might not. This show was so funny. I really liked it. Great characters. Davey McGrogan. Jolly Boy John. You have to watch this.

10/10. Anybody says otherwise, they're wrong.

Burnistoun has made me laugh harder than I could possibly imagine over its 3 season run with 3 one-off specials and a pilot episode, and the attention this show gets is well deserved. They portray Glaswegians, including me, as who they really are: loud and funny. Robert Florence and Iain Connell captured us perfectly, and their writing is genius.

All I do have to say is: if you're an old-yin, and hate stupid, nonsensical humour, maybe you should just skip this one and go back to watching Law and Order, or CSI: Miami in the nursing home. They're sketches, and they're not meant to be taken seriously.

Hilarious, refreshing, surprising, original, and funny.

This is a great show. I grew up in Scotland (10 years) and didn't struggle with the accents and dialects. Much. But some might.

This is a brilliant sketch show unbridled by commercial constraints, yet with a big enough budget for good sets and make up. The writing is fresh, brave, and hilarious. The acting is top notch.

...and Kirsty Strain is the kind of beauty I'd crawl over broken glass for, just to see her reflection in a window. A legendary screen beauty who I hope, and not solely because of her looks as she's a great talent, goes on to achieve great fame . A genuine stunner.

In fact, I hope these people go on to bigger and better things, they deserve it.

Give it a watch. It's actually good.

    Modern Vaudeville Style

Definitely speaks to an older comedic appreciation, but with modern content. Don't get me wrong, I love SNL, but often their sketches are too long. These sketches are shorter, faster, and have hilarious punch lines. This show is a specific style taste and not for everyone, but I loved it! Truly funny one liners and lots of physical comedy are my style. *just a side note: If you have a hard time with non American accents, it may take a little while to adjust to this.
