A strong showcase for creator/star Samantha Labrecque. TRYING is an authentic, fun and at times sober look at the struggles of living with ADHD. An expanded look at the story of Meg is a must have!
I really liked the movie a lot. Meg is very real and I relate to her a lot. I also liked that it was funny in parts but also had drama moments. I have anxiety and think it would be good to have a movie about anxiety too.
I love the film, it has such a powerful message.
It's an amazing portrayal of a woman with ADHD.
The writing, the photography, and the soundtrack its amazing!!

Trying was such a beautiful short film. It portrayed ADHD so accurately, and you can tell the writer took the time to truly understand the reality of people with ADHD.
It's a must watch for everyone and hoping for a sequel!

Trying portrays a real woman dealing with life circumstances while using joy and love as tools to step up for herself and her dreams. The scene with Mrs. Hazel is my favorite.
