Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this is abysmal. Tons of 1 review accounts giving this praise saying that it keeps the audience engaged. Engaged to their phones.
Right off the dialogue is just off. This silly acting becomes obvious a few moments later and it's just all downhill. Why are you filming a fight scene two feet from the actors? Probably so we don't notice how bad it is and the angles can hide the obvious misses. I'm wondering if the camera men took a few hits filming this.
The same background music and they couldn't afford genuine squibs for gun shot hits. It seems like this was done in the 90's and is lost footage. Cheesy all the way through.

Weaving backstory and character development into a plot, and doing it well, is a skill that needs to be honed. Wesley Clark needs to stop grinding with the rough stuff and find a finer stone to hone the dull blade that wrote this screenplay into something sharp and incisive. As is, the movie drags in many places where it should simply shine. The plot has plenty of potential to make a great movie, but the long, in-depth pshrinkological (sic) dialog is just a little too... blah. I'd love to see a sequel, but I have to wonder if the mediocrity of this one killed any chance it had at becoming what it should be.
This movie in my opinion is highly unwatchable. I tried watching it for a first few movies and then I found a way to see whether it's worth my time.
Fast Forwarding movie to random scenes: I had an opportunity to fast forward movie to select some random scenes to see whether the acting improves. To no surprise scenes are unwatchable.
Why I stopped watching this: The reason is simple - flat acting, poor budget, cheap looking and hastily selected environment for filming. There is nothing redeemable about how actors play.
I understand perfect that it is basically a hobby project a movie made by amateurs for amateurs. It's Simply not worth it.
Try to fast forward to random scenes and see whether you like it.

Right from the start Sirona has the tells of the makings of a B movie. Sterile dialogue and action sequences. But as the heading claims, this movie has potential.
While there are already decades of movies about super-powered mutants, superheroes, and science experiments making ordinary people extraordinary, this movie is no different and people are still watching them.
This movie is a good concept to start a series, which, like most series, would need a few back-stories as well as answer questions that we may have started asking ourselves. But most of all the question Sirona asked herself at the end: "What's happening?"

Somewhere there is one of those laboratories that does not exist and is messing around with peoples DNA. They call it Valkyrie. Throughout the movie there is a discussion of the meaning of this name.
One day a subject and her brother make a brake for it. It was not without a few casualties. So, it is time to re acquire the subjects. This is where the movie really begins as we are introduced to the team that is sent to retrieve the girl or whatever known as Sirona.
We get to go along for the ride and we see the trials ad tribulations of the hunt. We are confronted with morality and amorality. There are lots of guns and shooting. Usually, four to one. We learn about a protein called bacon.
The acting is O. K. for this sort of a cross between Sci-fi and sort of a Hallmark presentation. Nothing too spectacular but a cliff hanger ending. So, if you do not see a sequel or series by the time, you read this you might think twice about watching it.
I think I will watch again now that I know what clues to look for.
At the time of this review the sequel has been written and is currently being reviewed. I was thinking mor in the line of a series.
