This series really took me by surprise. The plot sounded a little cheesy and overdone, but this series managed to pull it off really well. It didn't escape the corniness, but in my opinion, it was corny and cheesy in the best ways possible! The characters were really likeable and the acting was decent as well. Chinese dramas tend to drag a lot, but I didn't feel that with this one. The pacing was perfect and there were interesting twists and turns to keep you interested.
My only critiques are the background music and the ending. The background music could have been more diverse, sometimes it felt like they were just recycling the same 3 songs for 26 episodes. I really liked the ending up until the last 10 minutes. In my opinion, the "twist" at the end was unnecessary and didn't add much to the story.

I binge-watched this show in two days and was not disappointed. While it's true that the body-switching angle has been done in C-dramas time and time again, this show did a great job keeping it fresh and entertaining.
The ML (Zhang Xin Cheng as Jiang Yi) and FL (Liang Jie as Yu Sheng Sheng) did a wonderful job portraying each other after the body swap. I was especially tickled to see Zhang Xin Cheng act as Yu Sheng Sheng-I could imagine it would have been difficult for him to stay in character without bursting out laughing.
It's a simple slice-of-life story showing the relationship difficulties that can arise for the typical Asian celebrity/influencer, especially when they decide to date a regular person. The twist is that there's some body-swapping going on every now and then.
Don't set your expectations so high that you become distracted critiquing the rationale behind every single plot deficiency. This show is meant to be light-hearted, warm, and fuzzy. It'll lighten your mood and possibly even get a squeal or two out of you.
Just be sure to make it past episode 1, or you might be tempted to give up and miss out on a really good series.
8/10-highly recommended!

I mean...WOOOW!!
I have been keeping this on my watchlist for a while and I was delaying it not knowing if I would enjoy it or not. The whole body swapping thing has been so used and repeated I thought it was going to be too cliché and boring... oh boy! How wrong I was!
Everything about the show feels fresh.
The pace of it is fast and there's always something going on with many twists and funny entanglements, so it's never dragging or boring. 26 episodes for a Chinese drama seems like an unbelievable dream but they got it perfect ( hopefully they repeat formula).
The chemistry of the main leads is something I haven't seen in dramas ( korean or Chinese) in a long time ( maybe since Something in the rain or You are my Glory) . They are so believable as a couple you can feel the passion in their gaze, their emotions and longing, even just by looking at each other's eyes.
I also enjoyed the fact that there is no toxic or unnecessary love triangle.
Oh, and, have I mention THE KISSES?? Finally a drama where they actually kiss and don't do those dead fish eyes kisses that makes the actors look silly.
The script is simple yet concise and straightforward, and it has a few dialogues where it actually very important values shine through, criticizing how the fans in asian countries behave irrationally or sexism in society discriminating women. I didn't expect this from a rom com so it was a pleasant surprise.
Im not going to lie, towards the end I was a bit less interested thinking it would have the very much expected cliché ending and then suddenly in matter of seconds the world of the drama completely changed and shifted changing not only the narrative but the genre of the drama!! What started being a sci-fi rom-com was suddenly not!?!? It's the most unique and original ending I have seen in a while!
There are so many good things I can say about this show but trust me, watch it, you won't regret it.

The American body swapping shows have always been film length. I never dreamed it could play out for 28 episodes and be so much fun to watch. Steven Zhang and. Liang Jie are adorable down to their almost imperceptible gestures.. The writing, acting and OST are great. And its in Chinese !
I have started this show for comedy and to feel at ease. There are lots of lots of humour. Obviously, Zang's acting is again superb. He is cute and hot at the same time. Female lead has also done a great job. Yes, It is a supernatural theme based series. But trust me it will leave you with more than that.
