The Ron James Show

I have seen Ron James do live comedy on TV before and he's really unfunny. All he does is talk fast and use a lot of metaphors, I couldn't even watch him for more than one minute. But I can understand that some people like him (I guess older people like him as in my parents, my Dad likes watching his comedy shows). This show is just terrible though. The jokes are all so bad they make you cringe, the stand up is the same talking-fast-unfunny mess I was talking about, the animation was really bad and also not funny. The acting was terrible... especially Ron James who for some reason is in every single stupid sketch. This is one of the worst shows I've ever seen and it pains me even more because I know my tax money is paying for it. Booo!

Unfortunately this show is just not very good. I wanted to like it and I tried to like it but there was just nothing in any of the episodes I saw that made me like this show even a little bit. Some of the stand up comedy that Ron James does on the show is OK but it is very short, has nothing to do with the rest of the show which is all made up of sketches, and just makes it more obvious how completely awful and void of jokes the rest of the show is. Ron James is not a very good performer outside of doing his stand up comedy sadly and the other acting is very bad too. The writing of the sketches is terrible. The jokes are like they come straight out of a child's how-to-write-a-joke book with jokes you can see coming like a freight train.

The Ron James show is terrible, I'm not sure if it is still on the air but if it is they should cancel it right away. The jokes are terrible, his stand up comedy is the best thing on the show and even that is annoying with the way he waves his hands around and talks in a shrill voice using way too many words. All he does is use word play he doesn't have any real jokes. I don't know who actually likes this stupid show. The rest of the show is also all Ron James and all of it is terrible. I have to write more lines before they will let me submit this review so I will just say again I guess how much I think this show totally stinks up my TV.

This show is painful to watch. It is not at all funny. I really have nothing else to say because I don't want to think about the show at all to write about it! It is an old guy telling really bad jokes and doing really bad skits. There is animation that you watch for a few minutes then it ends and you say why did it end? How can you tell it is even over, there was no middle even, just him talking for a while and then the skit ends, no jokes or anything. What is the point of this show? Can anyone have a show on Canadian TV? Where's my show, I would like a show where I don't even try to tell jokes and just put in the sound of people laughing when obviously no one in real life would actually laugh at this useless stuff.

This show is just very bad. The sketches are really lame including scenes where Ron James (who is in real life about sixty years old or so) plays a little kid and another where he voices characters who are supposed to be his family in animated short sketches. I guess we are supposed to just laugh because an old man is pretending to be a kid? I don't know what they are thinking but it fails miserably this is some of the worst comedy I have seen in a while on Canadian TV. There is also a lot of stand-up comedy on the show where Ron James tells jokes, this is much better than the rest of the show (the sketches etc) but it's still only for real fans of Ron James, personally I find his comedy might work for older people like my parents but he's pretty whiny and his comedy is a bit too basic for me.
