Baker's Dozen

I have watched a lot of baking/competition shows, and this one is a bit of a letdown. Some of the best desserts aren't chosen and it's hard to understand that. Also, Tamera try's to be funny, but she just comes off really obnoxious. She pokes "fun" at some of the contestants, but sometimes it just seems like more of an insult. She also comes off as if she has a great amount of baking knowledge and it's just hard to believe that she knows anything. All in all...not the best by far. There are better baking shows out there.

Just love this new show, love Bill and Tamera, love all the bakers! Incredible stuff they're all making, I'm so dazzled and sooo inspired to try some of this at home!! Great technique tips too...love hearing about how the guest judges went viral... and just love the stories Bill tells about cooking for Barack and Michelle. My fave new show! Must-watch tv!

Bill and Tamera make a great team and I love the format of starting with 13 contestants, down to 5 and then 3. These folks are so darn creative, I'm in awe of their talent. Makes me want to get in the kitchen and try my hand at some of their creations. Love the set too! Such a beautiful back drop in the beginning of the show when they're outdoors. Looking forward to more episodes.

Love the cohosts! Their chemistry is great. Tamera is lovely and Bill does a wonderful job of being constructively critical yet encouraging.

Also love hearing the bios of the contestants, the cute set, and stories from the White House May I have some more, please? Serve it up!

Everything about it! Tamera and Bill make a dynamo duo. Blown away by the amazing bakers - professional and home bakers.

As a home baker, the show makes me to think I too can up my game in the kitchen.

Can't wait for more episodes -- How about 13 and then a 14th that features the 13 winners competing?
