This really isn't that bad a film. Most of the ratings in here are polarising in the extreme.
If you can look beyond the poor cut aways to the murders, and the distorted sound at times, the acting in the main is fairly decent. Margot Robbie shows glimpses of what was to come later in her career with an overall decent performance here.
Story wise, it's straight forward. Kids spy on neighbour and see some 'odd' things going on in his flat, he finds out and seeks to teach them a lesson.
I would say the ending was a bit choppy, the flashback summary akin to the 'Saw' franchise was needless in all honesty, and only served to draw the film out by a minute or two.
Overall, certainly not the worst low budget film out there, and worth a watch.

For the last two years my husband Jeff and I (Tina) love Aash Aaron's films.
Aash's films Vigilante and ICU have played the last two years in a row at the Gold Coast Film Festival which we always attend.
Whether it be a thriller or an action Aash Aaron always delivers.
ICU was a real murder mystery that kept you guessing right up to the last scene.
Vigilante on the other hand though a kick ass action film still had a lot of twists and turns that Aash is becoming famous for.
We love your films Aash.

Just finished watching your movie I.C.U and thought i would jump onto IMDb and tell horror movie fanatics what a awesome movie this is.
There is nothing i can fault with this movie.
Loved the actors, SFX and the story line.
It's hard to find a good horror/thriller with a good story line and i think you hit the nail on the head.
Loved the location and i think the way you shot it was clever and kept me engaged.
Also saw you had a second movie, i will definitely be hiring out this movie if it is as good as I.C.U (which i'm sure it will be).

I just want to say I am proud to be a fellow Australian filmmaker! Or better still a fellow Queensland filmmaker! Or better still an Australian, Queensland, Gold Coast filmmaker! We are rising to the top guys! Aash was one of the first independent genre filmmakers to just get out there and do it, and now there are loads of us following his lead! Vigilante and ICU are great! Well done Aash! We at the Gold Coast Filmmakers group support you! Cant wait for your next film Tormented Souls and hope to be a part of it! I have only made short films so far but features like you Aash are next on my list.

ICU is great! And so is Vigilante Aash Aaron's other feature film.
Aash seems to be pumping out a film a year over the last two years.
And every one gets better and better.
First there was Vigilante, which was a good action thriller.
Then came ICU which was a groovy black comedy/thriller.
Now apparently Aash is working on a horror called Tormented Souls? As seen on www.aashaaron.com
We can't wait! But the Gold Coast Film Industry Professionals will be supporting this film as well as soon as it comes out.
Go Aash, we admire you.

- GoofsA police officer climbs to 'Level 36' of an apartment building, rings the doorbell, and asks the child who answers the door to tell her father he will be waiting downstairs, then leaves. The child asks how he bypassed the building security. More to the point, he had no reason to climb and descend 36 floors to pass a message when he could have used the entry phone system or even sent a text message.
