Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling stars Zhao Lusi as Gu Anxin, a struggling manga writer trying to make ends meet by working as a delivery service motorcycle driver. Anxin's name means 'feel at ease' in Chinese. While driving on a rainy night, she crashes against Ling Yue (Liu Te), president of e-commerce company New Way, who has just survived a car accident.
At the hospital, Ling Yue tells Anxin he could not remember his name. To avoid alerting the police and incurring more expenses, the cash-strapped Anxin suggests he stay at her house while he recuperates. They develop feelings for each other under this arrangement, with her calling him Xiao Ba.
Eventually, Ling Yue's identity is exposed. Anxin also turns out to be not as lowly as her lifestyle suggests. How they overcome seemingly endless obstacles to their relationship is a delightful journey.
This has trope after trope of cdramas - amnesia, rich man pretending to be poor, poor girl who is more than she lets on, heirs fighting for highest position in the company, couple turning out to have known each other in the past, second female lead thinking she has rights over male lead coz she thinks she has known him longest, etc. But the writing and acting overcome the triteness of a tropey story and these familiar story lines add to the charm of this entertaining drama.

Five episodes in, I thought, "Okay, maybe this will get better." But it didn't. The plot went from tolerable to painfully slow, stuffed with awkward cringe that didn't even have the decency to be entertaining.
The male lead? A human statue. No expression, no energy just existing in front of the camera like it was a hostage situation. And chemistry between characters really Nonexistent. Everyone acted like they'd just met in the elevator five minutes before filming.
The writing was an even bigger mess illogical, meaningless, and trying way too hard to be smart while ending up ridiculous. Family dynamics were so nonsensical I started wondering if the script was written during a fever dream.
I pushed through to the end out of sheer stubbornness, only to be rewarded with one of Zhou Lusi's worst works. I don't know how people give this high ratings! For me? It's a solid "don't waste your time." Even rewatching the trailer would be a mistake.

It could've been way shorter, the story kept unnecessarily extending, after a while it was exhausting to watch, like boring couples and weak characters personalities.
I liked the first episodes until midway I skipped some parts.

Liu Te (Ling Yue) and Zhao Lu Si (Gu An Xin) are absolutely adorable in this drama. They've got this aura full of sweetness and play their roles perfectly. They play well together and feel like a true couple.
The story is about two completely different people that fate makes them meet after collision. She is panicking when he wakes up from his injuries with amnesia. Not wanting to leave him alone she decides to take him home with her. She does everything to help him and he seems to enjoy putting her on the spot.
Little by little and as time goes by there is a small attraction growing between them that is fun to watch.
A sweet and fun drama to watch at any time.
