I came to find this on Netflix and watched it as I recognized Shen Yue. Shen Yue is an amazing actress out of mainland China, and this drama made me love her talent event more. I've watched a few of her other dramas. She can carry a scene so well. I would describe her as emotional and relatable - she MAKES the drama. Don't forget that Chinese criteria for dramas are different from everywhere else so they follow strict guidelines. Also, I don't know what nonsense there is about her acting the same roles. Ive watched people act the same roles all the time. Shen Yue has had diverse characters. She is an actress not. Pop star. She knows how to deliver a scene at such a young age still... I can't wait to see more of her work. I love that she is a unique beauty in China. Alot of Idols try to have that classic look and end up all looking the same. Yue is a natural beauty with angular features, an elegant jawline, big beautiful shining eyes and a very real true to herself personality. Jasper Liu and Shen Yue have a bomb shell chemistry here. Watch the drama! They story line and script carried very well. Great directing.
They are both likeable lead characters, as are the two other main "couples".
The psychotherapist was an annoying character when on screen and a total stalker with negative intentions and overall didn't really amount to much.

I had higher expectations for this drama. I loved the main lead on Meteor Garden and On a love so beautiful, but this drama seemed so plain and fake. I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads ( or the rest of the couples for that matter). Anyhow, watch ot if you want something silly and lighthearted to watch when you can skip whole parts of the show without miss anything important.
This is mostly about three romances. Of the three I found the romance between the influencer-bodyguard/assistant to be the most interesting. But, the main romance isn't bad. The CEO of a cleaning company falls in love with a low-level employee of the company. I actually liked the fact that she is not a classic beauty, but is full of personality.
The CEO is a germophobe (as many translated shows do, they use a much less common, but slightly more accurate synonym - mysophobe). He actually is so attracted to her that he can overcome most of his symptoms around her.
The main thing I didn't like about the show is when they show flashbacks of the grandfather's treatment of the CEO when he was young. This has directly led to his germophobia. Everyone refers to the grandfather's treatment of the young CEO as "strict". I take great issue with that. The grandfather's treatment of his grandson was verbal abuse! There is no other way to characterize it.
At pushing 70, I am not some young woke snowflake. It would have been abuse 60 years ago and it is still abuse today.
Near the end of the show the grandfather suddenly becomes a nice person to all around him. A not very believable, sudden transition. The therapist starts off misusing his position, but also, more subtly, transitions into a better person.
Other than the issues with the grandfather, I found the show fine, with more modern production values than most Asian shows. And, a tiny disappointment that the bad guy never gets his comeuppance.

There's so many this type of c dramas that when I first watching I thought I would just skip most of this drama just like I did in last few c dramas. But there's something different and excellent about this drama. I quite don't know what but I was hooked and watched till episode 22 cz last 2 episodes didn't air then.
I found it weird that at just episode 3 he realised he liked her but took so longggg to confess episode 12! But the accidental escalator kiss will be epic forever!
I loved fact that there's 3 couples in this cdrama. I haven't watched the korean version of this yet so I can't compare but I love this one though! Worth a binge watch!
