    Worse than awful!

Some people should have some kind of legal restraint that forbids them to make a movie or even thinking about touching a camera! Dan Garcia should be one of them, although the lighting is good (it usually is when you shoot outdoors) and some shots and scenery are pretty cool, but the movie itself is not even worth to be called "movie".

As one reviewer earlier said you could watch it if you were bored to death nothing short of watching the paint on your wall, I would even strongly disagree with him and say that it would be even better to stick to the paint watching, twice or thrice if needed just as long as you can so you don't have to suffer the horrors (in film making) that this "movie" has to "offer".

If you are a student of cinematography, just have a quick look at it as an excellent example of "How NOT to do it!".

A complete waste of time and resources and an insult to the audience.

Dan Garcia: forget about movie making, please find another job! Stay away (farthest as possible) from directing, script writing and whatever creative movie related jobs may exist. I'm sure you have talents to make yourself useful somewhere, but it sure is not in the movie making business...

A reminder that no matter how bad a B movie is, it could always be worse.

I would just like to reiterate what my illustrious fellows have already said: this movie is total crap. Imagine if you took the script of Predator, replaced the Predator with a Universal Soldier, and then made him kill people in the same way as the alien in I Come In Peace. Basically, that's the entirety of this movie. Almost every scene is ripped off from Predator, with cheap, ripoff sound and visual effects.

If you watch this for any reason, it's probably because Bokeem Woodbine and Kevin Sorbo. There was absolutely no way to salvage this movie, however, and neither actor looks excited about being here. I know that Sorbo's career has gone nowhere, but I would have thought that Bokeem Woodbine had better things to do.

I have no problem with cheap, direct-to-video ripoffs of Alien, Predator, or Terminator. Like any other B movie junkie, I spent an inordinate amount of time watching low budget Charles Band movies in the 80s and 90s. I even liked quite a few of them. However, this movie makes even the worst Empire/Full Moon movie look like genius. And that is no small feat.

When you order "Predator" from Wish...

Now, I had never actually heard about this 2011 movie. So I didn't know what I was in for here. Nor did I peruse IMDb prior to watching the movie, as to not spoil anything.

And boy what a surprise "Flesh Wounds" turned out to be.

I wonder if writer Gabriel Saint and director Dan Garcia were sued over this 2011 dumpster fire of a movie. It was a blatant rip-off of the classic 1987 movie "Predator". But not in a good and enjoyable way. No, this movie was atrocious, sort of think you ordered the "Predator" movie off of Wish and then received "Flesh Wounds".

It is a amazing that a movie so openly ripping off the 1987 movie was greenlit and made it to see the light of day.

The storyline in "Flesh Wounds" is pretty straightforward, sure. But it was hard to take it serious, given the fact that this was "Predator" on a shoestring budget, and with terrible effects to top it off.

Just why actors Kevin Sorbo and Bokeem Woodbine opted to star in "Flesh Wounds" is simply beyond my comprehension. But I guess a pay cheque is a pay cheque. The acting performances in the movie were fair enough, taking into consideration what this movie turned out to be. However, just keep in mind that you're not in for any award-winning performances.

The special effects in "Flesh Wounds" were exactly that; special.

"Flesh Wounds" is a terrible movie, make no mistake. But I am sure that there are some hardcore Kevin Sorbo fans out there that revel in seeing their idol in a movie leeching off of "Predator".

I wasn't impressed with director Dan Garcia's movie, though I did manage to make it to the very end. But truth be told, it was simply just to see how much they could manage to rip-off "Predator" and turn it into a low budget mockery of a sci-fi action movie.

My rating of "Flesh Wounds" lands on a two out of ten stars.

    Just watch Predator....again.

If you pick this movie up expecting something new, you'll be heavily disappointed. The film carbon copies scenes from Predator, but less effectively due to its budget. There are some changes made to try and hide the obvious but they aren't positive in any way.

The soldiers are bland clichés and attempts to give them personality fail. One guy's main thing is that he constantly proclaims everything is "bull****" which is about as endearing as a crying baby at a restaurant.

At times, Kevin Sorbo looked bored. I can't blame him. At least this film probably paid his electric bill for a month. The only way I'd suggest you watch this is to keep a running tally of the moments mirrored from better films. Otherwise, save your money and time.

    Shameless

When this started off I noticed a few goofs like a sergeant wearing a dress uniform in the field and scientists wearing lab coats in the middle of a lake( they're scientists so how else will we know?) All of these problems just faded away when I got into the main body of the film and saw what a shameless copy of Predator it really was. Die Hard has had its copiers but they at least tried to add something new to the formula but this is obviously a quick slapdash, turn it out as quickly and cheaply as possible movie. The script, effects and acting are all as you'd expect.

One thing I think I noticed, at one point they seem to have swapped guns, like they threw them in a pile at the end of filming Friday and just picked up the first to hand on Monday morning.
