I love the concept of the show and it's great to see young black people being successful and not constantly on the struggle bus. There is some very high school type drama at times well a lot of the time. But it is entertaining.
I love and support everything Issa does. I'll continue to do so with all her projects, but this show isn't it. The "drama" is unbearable and this "unscripted" show is giving very much staged. The cast makes black women seem catty and can't contain themselves. I'm disappointed Issa will put out something like this. I get drama happens in everyday life but every positive event that is held on this show has an unnecessary fighting scene. If everybody is beefing why do they keep hanging out? I hope it gets canceled. I can't say enough how UNBEARABLE AND CHILDISH this cast is. Season 2 is here and there is no growth in these grown adults.
As a young Black man in his 20s, I can definitely relate to this show and the topics that they're covering. I feel like it's a needed show that shows young Black people who are hungry to advance their careers while having fun. It's refreshing, relatable, and it even sparks conversations with my friend.
Both seasons were super entertaining with the storylines and allowing us to get to know the cast. It shows South LA in a beautiful light that makes me want to visit the places that they show. The soundtrack is great as expected.
I hope this show continuese to go on and allows the audience to grow with the cast members as their life progresses. From Season 1 to Season 2, you could tell the topics got deeper and more serious. HBO, you have a hit. Keep investing and promoting this show!

Listen this show is 10/10 and one of the most fulfilling reality shows I've ever seen ! I have been a huge fan of The Hills over the years... this show tops it by far . The maturity, conversations , over all interactions are very inspiring . Very relatable from PJ driving an older Honda and not a BMW or Benz to Jaylen being a hard worker . Additionally there are many funny moments, like Myami hold her own with the ladies as well as the men . AQ is my dude , had my wife and I rolling ! Marcus is so funny it's not right . Jerald is a fav of mine as well as Rob (not rob with two b's) . Man I love this show and I pray it sticks around for a long time !!!! BRAVO ISSA !
