Yeah admit right off the bat this movie can drag at times and the main characters act stupid. But that's literally what the movie's about? I don't get it if you don't wanna watch a movie about a bunch of self absorbed naive 18yr olds then why would you watch this film? The soundtracks great and I found it Entertainingly funny at times. Some fight scene's were way too dark. But all that being said "Going Places" is a 7.2/10 for me. And i recommend you watch it.
This movie was complete. Garbage had had to stop. Right before the weird kissing scene whoever wrote this movie needs to never write another movie in the history of movies. It was complete nonsense weird I I'm so mad right now. I wasted time on this movie don't watch. The movie started out OK but by the middle it just makes you so mad and whoever wrote this movie man I mean dude never do another movie ever again in life.
Just what the title says " worst piece of cinema I've seen all year" . Couldn't even finish it... I've seen middle school plays with better acting and funeral programs with a better plot... from start to finish it just kept getting worse. In the end it just feels like a boring string along to see "teenagers" kissing and discussing sexual orientation, which in my opinion is strange and add little to no value to the already struggling plot... "And scene" should've followed shortly after they ran the woman over because quite literally nothing of substance followed on from there. Just them arguing in nonsensical circles which lead me to believe that the script was two pages thick and written within a lunch hour. Overall it's a big yawn and totally not worth the watch.
High school friends, Jaden (Spence Moore II), Otis (Ethan Cutkosky), and Cora (Chloe East), are driving in the night when they hit Maya carrying $1 million in a suitcase.
First, I love all three young actors in their other stuff. The movie basically wants them to talk over each other and assumes that it's going to be automatically funny. It's not. They're also dumb and their chaotic nature makes them seem more dumb. The last act does get much more action. Maybe the movie should go with action from the start.
