Jordon Saffron: Taste This! (2009)
Myers introduced a new contemporary genre called Free Flow Filmmaking for his comedy feature, “Jordon Saffron Taste This!”. Myers created the story in a few days, shoot the whole movie in 7 days without a script. Myers wrote the story with the camera while directing and starring as the lead Jordon Saffron, a celebrity chef who looses his taste buds. The film stars Rachel Hunter and Steve Schirripa. This project has won multiple awards, had a limited theatrical release and has since been released throughout North America on DVD. It’s available on NetFlix, Blockbuster and other online retailers. According to LA Weekly The best thing about Jordon Saffron is Myers as Saffron, a prat whose expletive-laden rants and complete lack of self-awareness seem as close to Danny McBride in Eastbound & Down. This is the comedic story of Jordon Saffron (Sergio Myers), the big time, big ego chef of Hollywood who uses his secret ingredient Saffron, to 'make woman orgasm' over his food. But soon, his big ego, too much partying and
not enough cooking means Saffron loses it all, his girlfriend Nikki (Rachel Hunter) his restaurant, TV show and business partner Louie (Steve Schirrripa) and mysteriously his ability to taste his food. Shamed, he leaves Hollywood, and heads back to his home town of Chicago to work at his Dad's pizza shop and try and discover where it all went wrong. His soul searching journey gives him a chance meeting to reconnect with his true love he left behind Audry (Anna Hagopian), with visits to a flamboyant psychic, an acupuncturist and a psychiatrist and finds himself in a cook-off with his old rival Kimmel the Spam King of Chicago (Jock L Schloss), all in the quest to get back his taste buds and his former glory.
