Burn the Patriarchy

Burn the Patriarchy is a micro-short, running only a minute, which naturally leaves a lot of context out. That's fine, though - films this short simply don't have the time to build much background. Still, it means the viewer has to make a lot of assumptions.

The way I interpreted it, Steve - likely the boyfriend or husband of the middle-aged main character - is someone whose priorities dominate the relationship, leaving her opinions and needs unacknowledged. The ending felt a bit vague, though; I have to admit I may not have fully connected it with the title or grasped the intended message.
