Star Wars Biomes

It's very relaxing and also really cool to get a bird's-eye view of your favorite Star Wars landscapes. There's no story to be found here, just a nice relaxing video to put on as you fall asleep.

Feels like a tease of an actual documentary about planets and nature in the Star Wars universe. That would be awesome.

Oddly satisfying and visually impressive, Star Wars Biomes is obviously heavily limited by purely being a moving view of scenery. It's peaceful and was never intended to be absorbing, it shows other angles to famous Star Wars settings. Only for background viewing though, no one is focusing on this.

This was exactly what it sounds like. Star Wars Biomes is an 18 minute special that takes you to some of the most famous places in the Star Wars universe, to witness some of the events from the movies and shows, from a literal birds eye view. The shots were visually stunning, and I loved how they added the little details from the film or show the scene came from. The 6 Biomes they go to are Hoth (The Empire Strikes Back), Tatooine (A New Hope), Sorgan (The Mandalorian), Crait (The Last Jedi), Mustafar (Revenge of the Sith) and Temlle Island on Ahch-To (The Last Jedi). It was also really cool how they added key parts from each of the scenes, such as the Imperial Walker walking through snow on Hoth, and Luke riding on Tatooine shortly before the Jawas sold him R2 and 3PO.

This was actually very cool to watch, and I would definitely give it a go.

If you expect a story this isn't for you, but if you love amazing visuals, this will give you goosebumps. Biomes perfectly combines my love for great cinematography and my love for Star Wars. The atmosphere and visuals are stunning. I hope the cinematographer gets involved in a future Star Wars project because this gave us easily some of the most beautiful shots in all of Star Wars. Or at least give us a sequel with Coruscant, Scarif, Cloud City, Kamino and Takodana for example.
