The storyline is interesting , the way they put the plot onward and backward is good enough . The action also not bad though , Not much surprises but can make us curious on what happen next . The ploy on how the made the bad guy is also interesting at first we think maybe everything is about inside job / a mole , but turns out everything just about revenge . There's time when i think that maybe this is how we always said that so much of South Korea similar with US on how they spying on people . Also i give 8/10 stars for Min Hyuk on his acting and his body , is well built .i give je yi maybe aroun 7/10 star for her acting and beauty .

I really enjoyed it thus far.
Story is intriguing enough, action is building somewhat slowly but not dragged out, rather in a realistic pace. Acting is good, lead actor especially so.
Without spoilers, I have to say the car chase in episode 1 was filmed very nicely, from a different than usual viewpoint, which definitely adds to cinematic experience.

I finished the series now and I know I'm going to be depressed for a long time because it ended so soon, this is one of the best series out of 130 Korean series I've seen and I suggest you don't miss it.
I fell in love with Namkoong Min for the second time. The first time was in the good manager series and the second time was in the veil series. He really plays every role perfectly, but here he is really very, very awesome. I hope to see more of him in action movies and series.
If you like mystery, crime, action movies and series, be sure to watch this series, every part of it is exciting and will make you happy, and I assure you there is not love and romance, the main actor is a strong, smart and attractive person that you fall in love with him.

Perfection. Pure and simple.
Action sequences were thrilling, engaging and brutal. Somehow I hoped there would be more but was equally glad there weren't. Honestly if they'd keep up with it Han Ji Hyuk would have ended in intensive care before the story would have made it to the half-way point.
A man of few words, you can see his gradual transformation from raging beast, to paranoid weapon, to a man whom has seen and done too much, but is trying to make (an extremely awkward) attempt in connecting with another human and those around him.
The politics, the scheming, the "it depends on your viewpoint"-morality were all extremely realistic. And also important, vocalized in a natural, unforced dialogue. Everything is connected, but it takes a bit to get there as you have our main character act on any knowledge he finds, without the context of his memories. So he makes mistakes, rash judgements and hits and misses with all the consequences in tow.
The ending ties it down neatly. No open endings, unanswered questions or mysteries. Just the end of a nightmare and a trauma... a good headway into overcoming and healing.

South Korea makes a lot of NIS-themed series and movies, but The Veil is arguably one of the best out there. It's a 12-episode spy drama that's full of plot twists, and is intriguing from the very first episode up to the last.
Note that The Veil is heavy on the narrative so it isn't as action-packed as the trailer suggests BUT when it's time for action, it's crunch time. All fight sequences really deliver - and they get pretty intense with a jacked Namkoong Min at the forefront.
9/10 would recommend to anyone who has a knack for crime thrillers.
