Series stars well with all elements of a thriller in start but the story stretched after this without any reason . I think makers made this season keeping in mind the sequel due to which this part seems incomplete even though there was efforts to give a logical ending.
Tanuja Chandra after a long time brought complexity of women's life woven with a murder mystery but even after good performances by Soha Ali Khan Pataudi, Shahana Goswami, Karishma Tanna ,Kritika Kamra and Ayesha Jhulka the entire act remain Hush- Hush. Hope season 2 uplift the plot in a better way because there are lots of possibilities of interesting outcome.

Bad direction, awful acting and horrible story. The director needs to stop working as can't watch any more non-sense.
The series has all the illogical things to create dumb storyline. It starts with murder to unfold the background story which was not predictable as no one can think about so many illogical things. Also the backdrop and reasons for characters to do crime was not clearly directed nor it's logical.
I am not sure if the cast and director has watched it themselves, I am sure not as if they had watched then wouldn't dare to release this.
Please watch chota bheem instead of this great show.

Although the reviews were bad still I watched this series because of the star studded cast.
The series started off well, and it was quite engaging. I kept wondering why did people give bad review. But then I think around episode five the director started smoking cheap stuff 😂😂
The story is everywhere. There are so many loophole that viewers will scratch their heads to understand what is happening. Maybe the writer changed... One time Meera asks for Ishi's help, and is all lovey dovey, but in the next episode she does not want to do anything with Ishi.
It makes me wonder why do they force LGBT in every movie or programme?

An utterly slow and boring product guised as a suspense thriller with a clutter of convoluted characters making nonsensical decisions. The series tries to bank on famous names like Juhi Chawla, Shahana Goswami and Soha Ali Khan, who are great actors, but burdened with a script that is bound to fail and bring them down with it. The personal stories of each character do nothing to move an already dragging screenplay. Karishma Tanna's cop is wanna be Sherlock, but keeps being handed evidence and yet ends up being commended and supported by a unnecessarily foul mouthed superior, who by the way is another fine actor wasted. The biggest hindrance to the plot are the three leading ladies. They keep making the most stupidest decisions without thinking or discussing it through. They keep honking the ethical horn but end up doing the most unethical things. You hear so much about Juhi's character Ishi through out, especially in the penultimate episode. The character of Ishi is made out to be a messiah for no apparent reason. The end reveal is laughable and you can see it coming from miles away. The hint for a second season is anything but exciting. Overall a boring, senseless series that might be able to salvage itself in the second season provided they decide to hire a good script writer and even better directors.
Web series review: Hush Hush Streaming on Prime Video

Directed by Tanuja Chandra Hush Hush is a strong female oriented crime thriller.
4 bff's - Juhi Chawla (Ishi), Shahana Goswami( Zaira), Soha Ali Khan ( Saiba) & Kritika Kamra (Dolly) from influential backgrounds attend a high profile party where a murder is committed by one of them. Ishi is also found dead later that night under suspicious circumstances. The other 3 friends are slowly sucked into a web of blackmail, lies and deceit which wrecks havoc in their so called idyllic lives.
Was Ishi murdered or did she commit suicide?
What were the circumstances that lead to her grim fate. These are the questions that the series attempts to answer.
Delicate topics like same sex relationships, child abuse, dysfunctional families , women's empowerment & toxic patriarchy have been well presented. Hard hitting stuff .. Kudos to the director!!
Casting is bang on , all 4 protagonists have played their parts well. Ayesha Jhulka(Meera) as Juhi's childhood friend and Karishma Tanna (Geeta) as a no nonsense Haryanvi cop investigating the case also play an important part in the narrative.
On the flip side the makers have kept the story open ended when there was no reason to do so, thereby paving the way for a second season!!
Overall Hush Hush has strong content and definitely bingewatch worthy. Go for it, You won't be disappointed!!
3.5 /5 stars from me .. adios 🙂!!
