Droners

The aesthetic, the art direction, the animation, this show is so good! This is a great series to just relax and watch, the tropical/futuristic aesthetic they used is so pretty and it fits so well, the visuals are amazing, and the writing is very good, the character designs are amazing, one thing i sure would like to see more is going more in dept on secondary characters, like the star team and the bees(im not sure how the times are called in english i watched the portuguese dub) they are really cool and feel like they could be great characters!

Droners is a rather unknown French production crafted with a ton of passion and care. Its world and setting are intriguing and inspired, its cast lovable and its execution impressive.

The only thing keeping me from giving Droners a 10 star rating is that the first season fails to expend more deeply on its interesting cast and world. Many locations are also mentioned in passing, however they are not shown.

The show does a fantastic job hooking the viewer and making them wonder about the origin of its world, however most of the show's focus is on action packed races and fantastic animation. Bits and pieces of lore are given here and there, just enough to slowly piece together how this world came to be the way it is.

Thankfully, the cast is truly lovable and I personally am looking forward to seeing them again in season 2. I deeply hope that this series will eventually be featured on a more accessible streaming platform such as Netflix or Disney +.

Droners is a pretty interesting cartoon, since it's popular in France. Though I still wish they had done more with this series. Like to get more in depth stories with some of the other characters and give them their own episodes. Although I would like to see more new drone teams in season 2, compared to the 8 existing drone teams we have in this series, last but definitely not least, since the show's animation looks like a french version of a western anime, there should be more shows like this, But I still can't wait to see what cyber group studios and Chouette animation have to offer next, rather it be another animated series like Droners or set in different universe like Droners, I'm so proud of this animated series has to offer next. (PS, Imago is another animated series from the same producers as Droners that I can't wait to see next)
